Foodgasm!

I came because of the reviews, of course…

My first experience wasn’t the best because I was really in a hurry and a minute is critical. I waited 30 minutes and my food wasn’t ready because apparently there were a big group that afternoon (it’s a lousy reason btw :)

I paid the bill, I asked for take away, but I still needed to wait. So I left without food. It’s sad because I was actually excited for the food. The place is nice, they gave complimentary starter which was very tasty, so I was craving for the noodle even tho I haven’t try it. But I left empty handed.

The next day I came back to collect my change, because I paid without looking for the bill and I know I gave them more (I was really in a hurry, sorry!). It’s not surprising to me and they did the right thing and a good job! They returned my full money. So I ordered the same with what I ordered the day before. And today I’m not in a hurry :)

The food came just in time, and it’s exploded in my mouth. So the rave reviews were on point! Good job whoever the owner is! (I didn’t get her name when she was there the first day).

I would come back whenever...

I waited 1 hour for my food to be brought to my table, when there were 5 kitchen staff and only 1 other customer.

The food is REALLY DELICIOUS, but you have to plan for 2 hours for the experience. So, it kills the experience a bit unless you dont mind just sitting there for a whole hour.

If the service could speed up to 1/2 or 1/4 the time, the place could be 4 or 5 stars. But at the moment, the 1 hour long wait for food while the restaurant is empty is a punch in the stomach. Especially considering the additional service charge thats tacked on. Every other restaurant in the area does about 10 to 15 mins for an order with a full restaurant so this seems a little unreasonable when paying 600k rupiah for a 2...

Hello??? Might be some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had??

HK Noodle (I think was the name) was amazing. Perfect spices. Bathe me in it. This was the winner. I crave it already as I’m writing it. Omg. Portion was too small, but hey, I was hungry and it was good. So that’s a biased one. Dumplings were good too, bummer a lot of the options were out of stock. Mala noodle could be better, it wasn’t the mala I had in mind. Need way more mala. But still very good. Yakult squash and lime ginger tea were refreshing.

Amazing staff too, I forgot to ask her name but she was friendly and quick with everything.

I like the interior design as well.

Will definitely come again now that I live...
