BEAT KAFFEE DUMAI — Restaurant in Dumai City

The worst experience faced out of all eating establishment in Dumai. So much complains and improvement required:

Seating at the top floor have horrible ventilation (especially when you allow customers to smoke inside). The whole area is so smokey and stuffy. On top of that, the air-conditioning is not working properly. You have the two worst combination possible - hot and stuffy.

Ordered food but it took more than 1.5 hours to start arriving. And not all the food at the table arrive. They started serving food to other tables which arrived later than us ... this is ridiculous since the ones that arrive first should be the ones to be served the food. Hungry + hot + stuffy = angry customers.

Waiter (servers) are not very customer friendly. After waiting for more than 1 hour for the food to arrive, checked with the waiter to see what is taking so long --- was told to just wait. Rice came with only knife and fork utensils --- how do you drink soup and eat rice with a knife and fork? Bring the proper utensils and learn to be more customer service focus --- you are a service providing establishment.

After deciding not to wait any further for the food, decided to cancel the food that did not arrive (this was after waiting for almost 2 hours). One of the dishes ordered actually came out and that same waiter had the audacity to ask us to pack the food as take-away.

Conclusion/Suggestion: Confusing menu --- keep it simple so that you can serve your food faster Train your waiters well ... remember you are service industry Time to start maintenance on the upper floors --- too hot and stuffy

A place never to step foot in...

A great option for a place to drink beer if you are not looking for any companion.

A lot of western food to choose, and asian food as well. Have no fresh juice, but still the coffee is quite good.

Every now and then got live music, and lots of ppl will be there...

Pelayanannya bagus, ramah dan cepat juga. Jadi untuk para pekerjanya, udah bagus sekali.

Cuman suasana di dalam bener2 bau rokok dan penuh asap. Harusnya bagian AC indoor ya dilarang merokok.

Juga kan sudah disediakan outdoor, semoga ke depannya ada aturan dan bener2 di tegaskan. Bagi yang ngerokok ya sadar diri aja, itu ruangan ber-AC. Dulu suasananya gak seperti ini padahal, sekarang jadi seperti murahan dan bau kesannya.

Makanannya enak, harga pas. Untuk minuman agak overprice, udah setara minuman di mall ibukota. Secara keseluruhan ya tipikal kafe ala2 seadanya begitulah di...
