Baron Ndut's Steaks & Burgers Banyuwangi — Restaurant in East Java

Ordered a lamb and a smash burger. Sadly the smash burger was not smashed (?) and the lamb burger was some sort of beef stew meat. There were some hard chewy pieces between the meat stew but the taste was good, although not lamb though (or some really bad quality?). I'll have to be very honest, the burgers didn't look at all like the pictures but they still tasted delicious.

Staff were friendly, asked to leave a review and then I noticed she charged me for two smoothies (while I asked for a mix of 2 flavours), she told me it's normal (?). Strange perspective of normal. I would pay a surcharge with pleasure but I feel like being scammed while paying for two drinks and getting one. Is this the owner forcing this policy? Is it the owner didn't train their staff properly, more likely. She could also have mentioned this while ordering.. Whatever, I still feel like they robbed me a drink.

To the owner: train your staff!!! When asked what was the best or most popular meat she replied the burger. Your concept of the restaurant is great, just invest a little more effort in it.

Would still recommend people to eat here.. Pizzas looked delicious however I'm sad this occured.

Vegetarian meat patty of my partner in the burger was exceptional! However pricing was off , 50 for a single burger without french fries while right above it in the menu was a picture of two veggie patties with some stew and french fries and veggies for 55k. So she was hungry after.

Came in at around 11 AM on weekday and place was empty, ACs hadn't been turned on yet but they were quick to accomodate us. We ordered mozza sticks, aus sirloin, and smoked chicken leg. We waited for around 15 minutes. Mozza sticks were the perfect light bites. We asked for medium well steak with black pepper sauce. The steak was okay, nothing special about it. The smoked chicken exceeded our expectation tho, it was tender and smokey. But the assorted pickles were underwhelming. The red onion was good, but the pickled chillis weren't pickled enough, and the cucumber was fresh and crisp :(. Bbq sauce was also a bit disappointing, it needed more tang. It tasted more like sweet gravy/brown sauce to me.

Turned out we weren't full enough so we ordered another smoked chuck tender without carbs and sides. It came out a little sadder looking, but taste wise it was good. Meat was tender and smoky. But again, the bbq sauce wasn't making it for me.

Overall, this place still serves enjoyable steaks and grills at afforable price. Service was quick and also affable. Would love to come back the next time we're back in...

me n my husband came here for our lunch yesterday n we ordered steak, burger, salad. The first bite I had for steak, I was like 'wow'🫢 the beef was so juicy, soft n tasty! I could not believe the price we were paying for😆seriously, it was the best value for the money steak I ever had! we ordered sauteed mushrooms as a side dish,also veryyy tasty! So we end up ordering one more steak n Chilli chicken burger🤭 omg🫣talking about chilli chicken burger... again, best chicken burger I ever had! usually I prefer beef patty for burger but this Chilli chicken burger changed my bias that I had for burger. if u like spicy,,, definitely go for Chilli chicken burger...
