Mekar Jaya Restaurant — Restaurant in East Java

Mekar Jaya came highly recommended, and it's a large restaurant with some design touches, like special tiles and painted walls. However, the overall atmosphere felt a bit tired, with the tables showing their age, which made it less inviting to sit and relax. On a positive note, the food was excellent. I was able to select my own fish and speak directly with the chef about how I wanted it prepared. Both the fish and the dessert were cooked perfectly and tasted great.
