Swed's Diner — Restaurant in East Java

Swed’s Diner is one of the few pubs around the area. It has a old school charm with pictures and posters. It kind of takes you back by years, the menu is also of that kind with classic burgers, hotdogs, milkshakes- the OG fastfood. The atmosphere appealed to me but the food quality wasn’t upto the mark contrary to many online reviews. The bun of the burger was cold on one side and ruined the taste, else it would have been a good hamburger, nothing fancy but nothing less either. The place was empty at 6 30 pm which could be the reason they were serving old buns from refrigerator. The ladies who run the restaurant were friendly and nice. It was my second visit to Swed Corner after 6-7 years ago. Happy that business is still running, although we are the only customers. The interior does not change at all. We order chef salad, pizza, sirloin steak, orange juice and beer. All are excellent, except the steak. I agree with the previous comment that the quality of the meet did not meet the standard, it was dry, not juicy though i ordered medium. Love the dressing. Hope the management can pay attention...
