Absolutely amazing warung in Ruteng. The staff is very kind, polite and smiley. I got to talk with the owners for a while in Indonesian and it was a great discussion!

Now onto the stuff that matters the most: the food. It's AMAZING! We highly recommend the Ayam Betutu, it's a Balinese chicken meal and it's amazing. Served with delicious vegetables, salty peanuts and a phenomenal sambal. Also, their grilled tuna is absolutely fantastic! See pictures below.

We came to Cha Cha for dinner and were not disappointed! The food was absolutely delicious and cheap. Ayu and Gofan were very welcoming and the environment felt homely. We spoke about our travels and our confusion on how to visit Wae Rebo as it was a little far from Ruteng. Gofan and Ayu offered to drive us there and help us visit this village! They welcomed us into their beach house which was close to Wae Rebo to rest for the night before we started our trek the next morning! Their hospitality was impeccable! Some of the most delicious, authentic, and fresh Indonesian food we’ve had in over a month traveling here. We ended up chatting with the owners Jofan and Ayu who were beyond kind and welcoming. They showed us their new dorm rooms which they just finished and are now open. We had already checked into lodging for the night but wish we had known about their place. 100.000 IDR for a dorm bed, towels/linens, and breakfast.
