What an amazing place! I brought whole bunch of my family here. Their settings are very unique and enjoyable. They will seat you in what they call “Gubuk”, in Indonesia it means a hut. That’s what the name of the restaurant represent. Gubug Makan Mang Engking means The Food Huts of Mang Engking (Mang Engking is the name of the owner, mang in west java language means Mr.). Now let’s talk about the settings. All the huts are surrounded by ponds that are very well stocked with fish, as you can see from the picture. You have the options to buy fish foods, just go to the front cashier to get it. At some of the huts, you could see the fishes under the table. You will seat on the rattan floor, in Indonesia this kind of seating called, selesehan. The type of food they offer here is Sundanesse, which is West Java origination. It packs with fresh ingredients. The food is very tasty and the selections is massive. Their Sambals ( spicy condiments ) is great. They serve varieties of sambals. The star here is their selections of fish and other seafood. They can come grilled or fried. For Indonesian, the price is kind of on the high side, but for US standard it’s very cheap, giving all the fun atmosphere surround it. It is located not far from Surabaya’s Juanda airport. A must visit for tourist and travelers. You...

It’s a beautiful little spot. Welcome was excellent and we were shown round to a floating hut. Lady there to greet us almost immediately and ordered drinks: which were great. Her English seemed great so we asked her, rather than sitting with us, to come back in 5 minutes. Well over half an hour went by, we asked several passing staff for help but got none. Finally, as we were putting shoes on to leave when a new waitress came along, but her English technique was to say ‘yes’ and ‘ok’ to everything we asked, alternately, so we couldn’t trust getting our needs over. We left. Bumped into our first waitress on way back round lake and she wanted us to go back but was too...

Menu lengkap. Rasa masakan enak. Pegawai sigap, informatif. Fasilitas lengkap. • Parkir luas. • Ada musholla. • Toilet. • Arena bermain (gratis). • Sampan/getek (gratis). • Terapi ikan (gratis). • Perahu bebek-bebekan (bayar).
Kurang: Disediakan/jual makanan ikan buat di kolam biar anak kecil suka. Lilin langsung dinyalakan aja biar...
