The yellow chicken was absolutely the highlight of our meal—tender, flavorful, and beautifully seasoned. We also tried the Munchoi pork, which was equally satisfying.

Everything we ordered tasted great and reflected the authentic flavors that Grand Teochew is known for. It’s clear why this place is considered a culinary legend among those who appreciate traditional Teochew cuisine.

Just one note: consistency is key. With food this good, maintaining the same standard every visit will truly set Grand Teochew apart.

They used to be called Teo Chew Palace but rebranded over the pandemic (some dishes changed too). I've been going to this restaurant since I was a baby, and the food is always good. Whenever we have no idea what to eat, we'd come here and order anything off the menu, they never disappoint! For a "high-end" chinese restaurant, they have very reasonable prices and I'd choose this over Pu Tien. Still one of the best Dimsum place in north jakarta, not many places can match the quality and taste of this place, if we got a big family gathering, special ocasion or just want to have a chinese breakfast, this is the place.
