Kopi Manyar — Restaurant in Jakarta

I went there because of an article that mention Kopi Manyar is one of the best coffeeshop in Bintaro.

Kopi Manyar is located in Bintaro Sektor 1, in its residential area. It has two entrances, the first one that near to Bintaro Tengah main road, the other one can be accessed in the middle of residential area. Both of them are not having a decent parking lot as it is located in a residential area, and near to main road.

They have a lot of food and beverages menu. I was having hot coffee, french fries, and a brownies. All of them are bit pricey, but the flavor or the taste are so-so, just average kekinian coffee and its snacks.

The place is good, neat, and comfy for everyone who wants to work while having a cuppa here, but not for someone who want to have a good time or chit chat with friends or family, as they are not having a comfortable table and chair that suits for doing it.

The last one, the cashierperson is not friendly at all. Make those review aforementioned even worse.

Overall, this is a quite good (but a lil bit pricey) coffee shop for working. You may have a better coffeeshop for working in Bintaro, other than Kopi...

One of the most secluded and hidden coffee shop in Bintaro if not in Tangerang.

No signs, no shop sign, no lights. Well you just gotta know where to look to find this place. The only way to see this place as its a house converted to coffee shop is to look for the Valet sign.

Their brand name is only a sticker in their front window and its very small!

Coffee here is great. Food is well adequate. Not bad by all means but not fantastic.

What this place sells is the ambiance and decor. It really blends indoor and outdoor space together. And because it has many angles, you can just sit in one corner for 3 to 4 hours and nobody will notice you.

Perfect for having a meditation, self reflection, or creating your skripsi as this place is quiet. Whisper quiet even.

Setelah renovasi, akhirnya aku kembali melangkah ke Kopi Manyar Bintaro. Lucunya, dari awal saja sudah ada cerita kecil—karena pintu masuknya tanpa signage, hanya dinding putih polos dan dilain ada kaca yang sepertinya banyak orang yg mengira itu pintu masuk. Awalnya aku sempat bingung sendiri, bahkan melihat ada pelanggan lain kayak lagi main labirin. Kami tertawa kecil karena sama-sama nyasar. It’s those little moments yang bikin pengalaman makin hidup

Begitu masuk, semua rasa kebingungan tadi langsung tergantikan dengan rasa… lega. Cafenya super luas sampai ke kantor belakang, udara terasa mengalir bebas, banyak sudut outdoor yang nyaman dinaungi pepohonan. Di balik layout ini benar terasa sentuhan khas Andra Martin: clean lines, permainan ruang-terbuka-tertutup, material kayu dan beton dan yang paling aku suka — pencahayaan alaminyaa Sinar matahari masuk lewat bukaan-bukaan kecil, jatuh pelan ke permukaan kayu. Rasanya kayak lagi duduk di ruang meditasi, dan ditemani aroma kopi dr meja barista

Indoor space-nya sendiri rapih, apalagi penataan lampu-lampu warm-nya pas banget. Ada nuansa cozy yang subtle, nggak dibuat over, di belakang pojok café, aku sempat ngintip ada toko buku kecil. Did my little search its from @gavrabooks. Belum sempet eksplor koleksinya, tapi it’s giving that hidden cultural spot energy. Definitely mau balik lagi buat hunting buku sambil ngopi. Maybe next time yah.

Kalau soal colokan, sayangnya nggak banyak. Jadi buat yang mau kerja atau nugas di sini, lebih cocok kalau sekadar short escape sambil ngelarin beberapa kerjaan ringan atau ada baiknya yaa bawa laptop dengan baterai penuh kalo mau menghabiskan waktu lama.

Aku sempat pesan flavoured latte, tapi jujur rasanya biasa aja, nothing too special. Sebaliknya, mocktail coffee-nya justru menarik banget—berani, fresh, dan ENAKKK. Definitely lebih worth dicoba dibandingkan varian kopi-kopi klasiknya hehe

Untuk makanan, belum rejeki karena yang aku mau menunnya belum available waktu aku datang. Toiletnya cukup luas, namun sejujurnya terasa kurang harum hehehe sesuatu yang mungkin bisa ditambahkan untuk melengkapi pengalaman ruang yang sudah sangat rapi ini. Parkiran juga lumayan terbatas, mungkin lebih aman naik ojek online biar nggak pusing cari spot.

Overall, Kopi Manyar tetap menjadi ruang melambat yang aku sukakk! Tempat di mana arsitektur, alam, dan rasa bertemu dalam harmoni yang sederhana tapi dalam. Tempat yang tidak berusaha keras untuk menjadi trendi, tapi malah terasa relevan untuk siapa pun yang ingin berhenti sejenak dari...
