Woah very bad experience here. We came in Saturday afternoon at 1PM. When we came in, there were 2 people after us, the staff told us that there isn't a place upstair, it was already full. So we were told to wait downstair.

The couple that came after us was being waitlisted, and they were complaining, so the staff said that they have a spot upstair. Already a red flag, we came in first and they said no spot upstair. Alright, so the staff told the couple to order first at the cashier, before going upstair. We followed what the couple did, we wanted to order while waiting for them to clean our table (there was 1 table available but still dirty and not yet cleaned, this was ours). The staff said to order at the table and not at the cashier, so we went back waiting for our table to be cleaned. Waited so long. Then another customer who just walked in (and chose to sat outside) ordered in the cashier. So we were quite pissed, these two parties came later than us but their order is already processed. We were still waiting for our table to be cleaned. Not seeing any progress, we decided to order at the cashier directly. Then asked them to clean our table for the last time. VERY BAD SERVICEEEEEE OMGGGG. Super slow and there were only 2 person doing everything, and they were not doing things in order. Not recommended. Duh.

I'm not even gonna talk about their food, I waited one hour for my food to be served. Service is crucial, and theirs is B A D. Not only did they lied to us for not having a spot upstairs, they also let other customers who came after us to order so we have to wait even longer to get our order. They took 15 minutes just for me to stand and wait until they clean our tables and gave our order in. Nuh uh, not...

After seeing Krispypork Home hyped up all over Instagram and seeing the positive reviews here on google maps, I was really excited to try it out for myself. Arriving around 2pm, my order was taken quickly and it wasn't long my order arrived, so that's a great point from this restaurant.

However, I went with high expectations for the food but were quite disappointed.

Pork Belly Roast : Advertised as this soft and crunchy pork belly, but it ended up being very moist. For some weird reason it lacks of flavor too (I ordered too much and ended up having some to take away, and when I ate it for breakfast the next day it taste better??? I don't get it but you guys might need to think on how to get your meat more flavorful than letting it rest for a whole day after ordering/cooking it)

Mantao Pork Belly: I have to admit but the mantao itself is one of the best mantao in Jakarta probably, but the meat wise the review would be the same with no 1 review cause they use the same meat.

Pork Satay : Was supposedly sweet but ended up being spicy (The satay literally have some red color on it), if it is not supposed to be sweet, please just say it. Don't just say yeah it's totally sweet but RATHER say that its sweet and spicy. It taste great just wasn't what I was looking for at that moment.

The reason I ranked it 3 out of 5 would probably because it's just fine; solid. The food isn't exactly bad but it's not amazing either. Like yeah I can eat it but would I eat it again probably not but if there if I'm in the are can't find other option or there's some kind of huge discount would I mind eating it again, no I would not...

Restoran yang satu ini menjual aneka menu serba babi, mulai dari makanan Indonesia, Thai, Chinese sampai Western. Bahkan mereka juga menjual menu dessert dengan bacon.

Buat lokasinya ada di kawasan ruko perumahan Permata Buana. Tempatnya ada 2 lantai dan semuanya indoor. Di lantai 2 ada VIP room tanpa minimum charge.

Saya mencoba :

Porkbelly Party (IDR 350k)

Porsi makanan yang satu ini bisa buat sharing 3-4 orang. Saya sendiri sharing bertiga dan masih sisa, jadi endingnya take away.

Buat isinya juga beneran banyak, ada nasi putih, babi panggang, babi bali, babi goreng, sate babi, krupuk babi, daun singkong, sambal matah dan sambal bawang. Selain itu dapet additional sejenis sup berempah dengan potongan daging samcan yang empuk di dalamnya.

Rasa samcan panggangnya enak banget. Semua babi sama sekali nggak berbau. Kulit samcannya renyah, dagingnya empuk dan lemaknya gurih. Meski dimakan tanpa sambal, samcannya udah terasa gurih.

Babi gorengnya juga renyah dan nggak berminyak. Buat babi balinya pun terasa gurih berempah. Apalagi sate babinya, rasanya manis meresap, empuk dan nggak berbau.

Bahkan krupuk kulit babinya juga enak. Beneran jarang nemu yang seenak ini. Krupuknya renyah, nggak bantet, terasa gurih meski dimakan begitu aja dan nggak seret sama sekali. Biasanya saya kurang suka krupuk babi, tapi saya suka ini.

Baik daun singkong maupun sambalnya juga enak. Sambal bawangnya nggak sekedar pedas, namun juga gurih. Sambal matahnya juga pedas namun terasa bawangnya. Sedangkan daun singkongnya berempah dan nggak pahit.

Porkbelly Mantao (IDR 50k)

Seporsi isi 2 tapi beneran worth dibanding harga. Potongan samcan tebal dan cukup banyak.

Mantaonya masih empuk meski dimakan 1 jam sesudah dihidangkan. Sepaket ada yang isian sambal matah dan hoisin. Kalau sambal matah rasanya cenderung pedas dan cocok dipair dengan samcan panggang yang gurih. Sedangkan yang hoisin lebih manis gurih.

Pork Carbonara (IDR 75k)

Pasta yang satu ini unik. Porknya nggak cuma dari bacon aja, tapi juga dari krupuk kulit babi & samcan panggang.

Nggak nyangka samcan panggang cocok dipair sama pasta. Baconnya juga banyak dan renyah.

Rasa pastanya gurih dan creamy, tipikal comfort food gitu. Pastanya nggak kelembekan dan sausnya juga pas, nggak terlalu cair.

Mie Keriting Special (IDR 55k)

Rasa mienya gurih karena pakai minyak babi. Tingkat kematangan mienya pas dan isinya juga banyak. Seporsi isi babi panggang yang renyah, babi cincang yang manis gurih dan pangsit goreng.

Buat kuahnya cenderung gurih kaldu. Rasanya pas, nggak hambar namun nggak asin berlebih.

Bacon Maple Ice Cream (IDR 33k)

Dessert yang satu ini beneran unik karena pakai potongan bacon beneran. Baconnya kering, renyah dan gurih.

Buat rasa es krim vanillanya pas manisnya. Dalam satu gigitan kerasa manis sekaligus asin gurih dari baconnya.

Mango Sticky Rice (IDR 45k)

Mangganya segar, rasanya asam manis dan nggak kelembekan, jadi masih segar. Sticky ricenya terasa sedikit manis dari sejenis santan kental (?) di atasnya. Sedangkan rasa sticky ricenya sedikit gurih.

Tamarind Soda (IDR 25k)

Minuman ini merupakan perpaduan soda dengan tamarind. Cocok buat yang suka...
