Biteorbye? Bite.
Why you will love it ❤ Super rich in taste. Every bite is like you died a bit and went to heaven. Must. Try. The. Pistachio. One. To those who are not familiar with the taste of baklava, it might be a little too sweet and in your face. That's why you should opt for the pistachio one. The savoury taste of the pistachio cuts the overly sweet treat and gives a more balanced flavour. Still dominantly sweet, but with just a slight hint of saltiness that creates an explosion of flavour in your mouth. I'll try the cheese kunafa when I visit there!
What could be improved 🙏 Personally, I do not like the chocolate one because the original taste is eclipsed by the taste of chocolate. The walnut also somehow does not highlight the taste of baklava which is a shame, it's like you have the voice of Shawn Mendes but decide to stay silent. This baklava is on the pricey range and you buy it per gram as opposed to per pieces, however, every Rupiah you spend is worth it.

We came for the kunafe, it's a sweet pastry made of cheese, but since we came from far away might as well try the baklava. Well I don't paeticularly fond of sweets, so it's hell for me.
TLDR; DON'T come if you don't like sweet. It's expensive and not worth the price IMO. Come for the experience ONLY if you love sweet. I've warned you.
Baklava - pastry from sugary water. That explains it enough, the sugary layer is so thick you can actually see it, I can only taste sugar on each bite abd the chocolate is soooo chocolatey, if you LOVE sweet by all means try it you might even like it.
Kunafe, it's cheese, but I can still taste the sweet in it. It's okay but I won't come to eat it again.
Turkish tea, the bitter taste is just right with the super sweet baklava and kunafe, but a bit taste like SariWangi at first. Very small for a tea at that price, starbucks doesn't sound so expensive anymore.
The café is small but comfy, the employee are nice and kind, clean kitchen, everything...
Read moreI've been here twice. Both were nice experiences. The place is not spacious. Only 7 (i guess) coffee tables with some single chairs around. I always order künefe, baklava, and çay or turkish tea. All are freshly made on that day. They taste original just like ones in their origin, Turkey. Even here, you can choose the sweetness level of künefe. Choose extra sugar if you want to taste exactly the original one. I prefer the normal one, though. What else? The tea also a real turkish tea. You can taste that addictive bitterness of black tea served in an authentic turkish traditional tea glass called "ince belli çay bardağı" and the smell.. Hmm.. So turkish! And oh yeah, they play turkish playlist too (not arabesk ones but the popular pop and rock songs, sometimes instrumentals). Unfortunately they don't give a free-flow for tea. So I need to pay another 22k (if not mistaken) for additional cup of tea :( can't get enough of it.. Anyway, it is really a nice place for hanging out with friends or family. 5-stars...
