Sundanese cuisine is magnificient…

Place : it place in a housing area, very close to Cipinang Prison. It also has enough parking space.

Food : they have a package menu and a la carte. I usually order a package menu since it is enough for me. Ala carte menu usually serve in a large portion so it will suitable for you if you are order for a family.

Drink : they also has many kind of drink, but for me the special one is teh poci.

Price : it’s not too expensive, around IDR50k per person.

Sundanese cuisine has a specialty on it vegetables and their sambal. Usually to keep the food fresh, almost all of it vegetable serve uncooked. The sambal also has quite intense hot and tasty. I recommend chicken and freshwater fish in sundanese resto rather than meat.

Indonesia has many kind of food and every region has their own specialty. The flavour is very rich since it was cooked with many kind of spices. Thats why Indonesian Cuisine is one of the most delicious food...

One of the best value sundanese restaurant in town in term of price, you definitely has to try the gurami bakar, kangkung balacan and karedok (raw cabbage, long beans, bean sprout, cucumber added with peanut sauce with strong aromatic ginger) but for the fried part......fried gurami or any other fried food...these are the foods you should avoid (I think...), the oil "smells" just like a stale oil, or....long used oil, used over and over again?? (Dunno what is the cause.....)...overall is 7/10, if the oil issue is solved, i would not hesitate to put 9/10 due to price to taste...

The service is friendly and efficient, with staff who are happy to explain the menu or recommend dishes. The rustic, traditional decor adds to the charm, but it would shine even more with a tidier space.

In summary, this Sundanese restaurant offers incredible food at great prices, but it needs to prioritize cleanliness to match its culinary excellence. With a little more attention to hygiene, it could easily become a top-tier dining destination. For now, it’s worth a visit for the food—just be prepared to overlook the less-than-spotless...
