Nom Nom Nom — Restaurant in Jakarta

Been to this establishment already, but always forget to take picture. This time, I am ready.

Order the cappucino and tahu pong with petis (shrimp paste based sauce). Let me share my take on the tahu first. I really reallt really love the food. The crispy outside soft hollow tahu combined with the umami and spicy petis was soooo good, they also provide shrimp cake and fried boiled egg and all taste very very good with the petis. Fyi, I am not from east jawa, the birthplace of petis, so my take on a delish petis might be different with local east javanese.

As for the coffee, their single origin flores blend was so good. Balanced and creamy. I just wish they didn't put too much cinnamon. May be next time I will not want the added cinnamon to be able to enjoy the cappucino...

Finding this small resto was quite an effort as we had to notice all places close to Ace Hardware Karang Tengah Lebak Bulus South of Jakarta, Indonesia. And they should move the plant in front of their entrance as it bothered the customers to get in.

The space was quite small yet it was still cozy. They have many choices from Asian to Western food such as Korean to Italian pasta.

As I only ordered Sundubu with rice and just hot tea, I had to tell that they cooked delicious Korean soup. A bibimbap at other table also attracted me to order it in the future. The prices are still affordable and quite similar to other fancy restaurants.

Either the pasta portions have shrunk or if they always were this small it isn't just enough - same with the salads. Service: we were 3 people - the 1st dish arrived after 10 minutes and thats fine; the 2nd dish 10 minutes later and the last dish for the third of us 10 minutes later by which time the first of us had already had time to digest his order. The wall under the kitchen hatch shows a dubious shade of brown... A/C units suffer from asthma: too warm inside the restaurant for comfort. I won't mention the ice tea at Rp. 20,000 because you can refill for free. Conclusion: it used to be more satisfying...
