Pangsit Goreng Lek Gino — Restaurant in Jakarta

Worth the wait and traveled. Famous for their fried pangsit (dumpling), Le Gino is a homemade pangsit that is started and still run from uncle Gino's house. Their pangsit has removed the floury taste of pangsit that I have tasted in lots of pangsit in Jakarta and Surabaya. And maximize the rich flavour of their special sauce both in the shell and filling.

Sweet, spicy, not salty but I know it uses salt, and tasteful. Better to eat it on the spot so bring tissues because it's soo hot (both spicy and hot). Friendly customer service, and they are not shy to tell others if you try to pay them more for faster serving so be patient.

The location is pretty hard to travel if you're using a car, but not that hard if you use motorcycle since you need to cross small and narrow alleyways. For motorcycle, you can park it beside the place; and for cars, you can park it outside the alley.

Price range around Rp. 25-30.000. They don't sell beverages, but there are lots of shops besides them. They're open at 5pm (17.00) but the que started an hour before. Serving around 2 hours after order, or depends on your que. 10-15 minutes for...

At first, frankly, I thought this will be a so so street food, put a side all the hype surround it, in reality, it is that good.

I bought bihun goreng and of course what else, pangsit goreng.

Perdana banget cobain ke sini makan pangsit goreng, sebenernya udah ngiler banget dari jaman viral. Haha males antrinya

Bagi anda yang males antri juga, sekarang waktu yang tepat sekali buat coba. Ga perlu antri lama, nunggu ya dengan waktu normal seperti di tempat2 lain.

Rasanya buat gw ga mengecewakan, enak tasty sekali. Manis asin nya ga pelit.

Untuk sekarang memang ga disediakan tempat dine in (meja), cuma gw tetep boleh makan disana dengan konsekuensi hanya ada bangku tapi masih oke kok. Tim nya lek gino juga sangat helpful, sigap kasih bangku, tissue, kerupuk, sampe mereka beli minum mineral dingin botol besar pun mau ditawarin ke kita buat sharing pakai gelas.

Jadi soal servis dan rasa sih aman banget.

Kemudian buat akses masuk, google maps kadang mengarahkan masuk lewat gang kecil selebar 1 motor aja, saran gw jangan ikutin karena susah buat yang bawa kendaraan coba cari jalan lain aja sampai ketemu gang yang agak besar muat 1 mobil. Cuma tidak disarankan utk yang bawa mobil masuk ke dalem gang nya ya susah utk puter balik saat mau pulangnya. jadi bisa parkir di jalan besar / toko atau titip dimana gitu baru jalan masuk.
