Pho Master Vietnamese Noodle Soup — Restaurant in Jakarta

Surprisingly good bowl of Pho is hard to find in Jakarta but Phomaster managed to blow my expectation.

Located in a residential area of Sunter, you can have a hearty bowl of Pho in a cozy setting. The menu currently only consist of 2 type of Pho, I opted for the standard Pho Bo.

Firstly, I love their rice noodle, they managed to use a supplier that gives a neutral tasting rice noodle. Love it!

The broth, the make it or break it of Pho, is a bit watered down. I can feel the essence of the broth with every sip. It's a fine broth, don't get me wrong, it's just slightly not reduced or too much water was poured prior to serving. An easy fix I'm sure. Also, the broth was served just warm, I prefer my Pho to be boiling hot.

As for the meat, its generously portioned and it's good quality meat. No complain there.

Will definitely be back for another bowl or to try...

New pho restaurants in Sunter, it's very simple restaurant only had two Pho menu. I tried the pho with beef bone marrow "Pho Dac Biet" taste wise actually very good balanced beef flavors and spices also tender sliced beef and smoky marrow. Unfortunately they didn't served an additional condiments such as coriander leaf, mint or basil, and slice chilli. It could be better if they prepared this.

The service could be improved waited for a while for the food to be served and maybe some appetizers menu or light snacks menu it will be more interesting. Also a good music for better...

A new Pho place in town. I can say the broth is one of the best so far from all I tried in Jkt. High quality sliced beef, fresh herbs (Sweet Basil) it's farm to table!

Their signature drink, Vietnamese milk tea is fully recommended too!
