After a trip to gate of heaven we told our driver that we wanted to grab a lunch really quick there but he suggested this place would be better. The staffs are really friendly and welcoming so service was really top notch, we were told that the place is quite new so we had high hopes. The price was very high so we expected something really good. Unfortunately what you pay for here is the view and the service. The food was mediocre at best. We paid 140k for the fish dish, that was too oily, served like a dish I could get in kuta for half the price or less. But okay we got the view. 5 spring rolls that unfortunately tasted burned for 80k also very oily tho tasted good if I could ignore the burned taste. Freshly pressed juice for 40k each that tasted like they blended it with water. Lots of flies around around us but luckily they didn't even want to land on our food. Oh and a plastic straw.. Half of the places we've been to has either been using metal or recycle straws since Bali is trying to fight plastic which is really nice to see a community so actively fighting against it and this has also made us more aware. It just got to me to see a "fancy" place like this didn't care. Also expect to pay another 11procent on the bill. One star for service and one for the...
Read moreIIGA is an unexpected gem! We stumbled upon this restaurant on our way to Amed from Taman Ujung, and it turned out to be a fantastic find. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by two incredibly friendly staff members.
The restaurant boasts a sprawling garden with a truly relaxing ambiance. It's the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a meal. Speaking of which, the food here is nothing short of amazing. We ordered the Nasi Goreng, Sate Lilit, and Iga Sapi, and each dish was a delightful culinary experience.
The drinks were fresh and delicious, complementing the flavors of our meal perfectly. However, the real highlight of our visit was when one of the staff members invited us to pick mangosteens from the tree. It was a delightful surprise and added an extra layer of fun to our dining experience.
In summary, IIGA is a hidden treasure that we wholeheartedly recommend. The friendly staff, beautiful garden setting, mouthwatering food, and unexpected surprises like picking mangosteens make this place a must-visit. We can't...
Read moreTruly a hidden gem 💎 We found this restaurant by chance when looking for a place to eat on our way from Taman Ujung to Amed. It is located on an unseemingly place with narrow roads.
The hospitality we received was beyond expectation! It was lunch time, yet no one but us were eating there. But that didn't make the staff treat us any less. We were greeted since we arrived at the parking area. The staff suggested to park under a shade to avoid the heat in our car later. Then were escorted to the table while the staff engaged us with pleasant conversation. They were also very friendly with our little dog 🐕.
The food and beverages that we ordered were all very delicious and refreshing. We enjoyed our iga sapi panggang, fried rice, and sate lilit 😋.
The highlight of our visit, however, was when the staff invited us to pick some mangosteens from their tree!
Thank you for hosting us and creating good memories in our trip. Will come back again for sure when we...
