Saemaeul Korean BBQ Gading Serpong — Restaurant in Kelapa Dua

Yesterday i had lunch in Saemaeul Korean Bbq in Gading Serpong. Food is good & tasty with reasonable price.

As I entered the restaurant and waiting to be seated by the waiter, I saw few customers bring their dogs. Then i asked the waiter, "Dogs are allowed here inside? " Yes, he answered. Moments later I saw the lady feeding her dog from table. Here i really doubt about the restaurants' hygiene. Especially with an indoor, airconditioned room , bbq cuisine. I hope the management take this seriously, if the restaurant offers pet friendly, please do post/signage/logo about it. So potential customers are aware. I felt i got framed, as all these while going to a korean bbq restaurants, never had i seen dogs/pets allowed in the same area. Hopefully they provide outdoors for the pets and not indoor in an airconditioned room, as its unsanitary especially there are families with kids/elders dining in.

After browsing through Saemaeul Indonesia IG, there is no post that dogs are allowed in / is a petfriendly. But many posts that they can bring pets in. There is one video showing that the customer is feeding his pet with the restaurant's chopsticks?? (Scbd outlet) Are you kidding??? For this scale of restaurant you allow sharing cutleries...

The food was superb—grilled to perfection with just the right seasoning, so good I forgot to take a picture. Honestly, my family & I enjoyed the food (since it's all pork and we couldn't eat beef), but won't be back to Saemaeul.

I didn’t realize the restaurant was pet-friendly (my mistake). Table behind me brought 3 dogs and barked multiple times. Also, I have a severe dog allergy, even if it's hypoallergenic breeds, and I'm on medication for it. It would be better if the restaurant had a separate area for pets (like VIP room or something), especially since the restaurant is fully enclosed with an exhaust. Given the option to grill in the kitchen, this might be worth reconsidering.

If you have quite severe allergy to fur, I won't recommend this place to dine-in even though the food is superb. Or if you insist, then do at your own risk (bring your medication or tell the server to put...

Paik’s franchises are averagely similar quality with authentic foods in Korea. Here is also same.

Yeoltan Bulgogi flavor is almost same, especially the smoked flavor! 👍 Chilbun dwaeji kimchi is also same which is in yellow aluminium pot. Steamed cheese egg looks beautiful and the taste is also beautiful! Price is reasonable. It’s also same as Korea.

I felt so food because I can enjoy authentic Korean flavor in Gading Serpong. Maybe will visit often again.
