Shao Kao gading serpong — Restaurant in Kelapa Dua

I love this place because I always expect coming out from a BBQ/grill restaurant smelling like a BBQ myself, but that didn't happened when we ate at Shao Kao! The restaurant is clean, AC is cold enough, service is fast and friendly and no typical smokey smell of a BBQ/grill restaurant! Now, the food. I am quite surprised that the food is really good, although they all tasted a bit on the salty side (even the plain porridge is rather salty). However, since I love salty food, this is right up my alley. We did ask the food to be grilled with the salty option. We love everything, even the veges tasted delicious grilled. The crispy pork is not oily but a bit hard for me. Will definitely be back for more of the grilled food. Price. Most of the sticks are cheap, some are more expensive, like the spam and pork sausages. Love the chinese style skewer/satay. You choose the skewers up front and you can have them grilled or boiled with soup. You can ask the waiter which skewer suitable for soup or grilled.

For grilled satay, you can choose to have them grilled with BBQ or Original Sauce but they all have a little spice in it, so might not suitable for young children.

For soup you can choose Mala or Original broth. Since we have children, we choose original broth for our oden.

The BBQ satay is delicious. I can taste a lil bit of Mala spice in our satay. Definitely reminds me when we have them in China.

Overall we enjoyed our dinner, but we felt that the portion for each satay is too small for the price. Tip : prepare to wash hair when you going home bcos of the smoke...

Food : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ i taste dimsum and its great. I also try their signature dishes “variant of satay” and the corn its so tasty. The sweet spicy sour soup so spicy. They also serve beer.

Place : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ very startegic at Jl Gading Serpong Boulevard, the front of main road in Gading Serpong. The dining area very small on ground fl but quite large at 2nd fl, they also have a private smoking section.

Pricing : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ regular price and its worth it.

Overall : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ this place open only noon until midnight, and its getting full after 20.00. Good place to eat and drink beer...
