Turning Point Coffee — Restaurant in Kelapa Dua

I come to this place a couple of times, and they are all good experiences. Located within Gading Serpong, it's relatively hidden in a ruko off the main road. But what a pleasant surprise they have here. Ambience is relatively bright and excellent for either hanging out with your friends or working alone. This place is not very large, and tables are of smaller sizes, meaning this is more appropriate for 1-4 people at most. There's only one or two big tables at the back.

The baristas here are very warm and friendly and regularly interact with customers. It seems like some of the customers are already friends and familiar with the baristas (or perhaps owners), and even call them by their names. A big plus for a small coffee shop. Coffee is still very nicely done here. No complain at all. Parking is easy and abundant. Sometimes crowded, but you'll likely to always get a table even in the peak hour. I would say one of the best coffee in Serpong (or maybe Jakarta for that matter). One of the founders actually is one of the finalist for Indonesia Barista Championship in 2015. That should speak volume about the quality that they are serving. I personally love the blend roasted by Curious People here. They also occasionally serve imported beans from abroad. Sadly, not too many choices for food here other than a few simple pastries and cakes. But hey, you aren't going to sit here for 6 hours, no?

This place is beautiful, I swear. Definitely worth visiting, feels like you're in a sea on a wooden ship setting. It wasn't full on showing you're in a ship but it gives off the vibe, see. The decorations are beautiful, place wise everything is just a-OK.

I ordered the truffle pasta, it was good. Perhaps not the best I've tastes but it was okay. Not good enough I'm craving for it but I'm fine with it and is interested to taste their other dishes too next time.

Strawberry shortcake was nice, the cream wasn't sickening. But then again, I shared it with some other friends.
