Cafe Monstera — Restaurant in Kota Batu

Key points: Do come before lunch hour rush especially on weekend (I tried coming here and only succeeded on the 3rd try). Mind the road. It is quite narrow, maybe fit for two cars (but the parking space is spacious). If you love plants, bring extra $$ since they also sell cute plants here.

First, the hospitality. The crew are friendly, quick, and full of smiles (they wear masks obviously, but we can sense that they're smiling to us). Second, F&B. They are delicious. You know the case when a cafe is pretty but the food was bland? That did not happen here. The food are hot, delicious, and affordable (around 20k in average). They also sell CUTE dessert 😍 The drinks are fantastic, especially Shogayu! Third, the ambience. The playlist are great, the seats are comfy, and it was well-ventilated.

tl:dr - enak, harganya wajar, nyaman, stafnya baik, bisa banget diulangin ke sini...

Good place good scenery good services. The price of the food is great meaning it's affordable. The thing that quite bothers me is that the music is kinda too loud, at least for me. Because the price of the foods and beverages are affordable, you'll get plastic glasses (some of the beverages) and plastic straw. There's a quote on the wall that says "green (referring to plants) is the new white", so might as well save the environment by simply reducing the use of plastics and please consider using other alternatives. The variation of the menu is not much. Most of the beverages are sweet except for the coffee which we all know that original coffee is bitter, so please consider other variation in the menu bcs not all of the people like sweet beverages. In all, i enjoyed having lunch in here, keep up...

I don’t think go during the night is the right choice to go here. If you go the lower section of seats, you won’t get to see the scenery of city lights there which is ashamed. I recommend to go here during the day so despite the city or hills view from above can only be enjoyed from the upper section of seats, the lower section won’t be that disappointing as much as you go during the night. I mean you still get to see the hanging lights and all, but still…it wouldn’t be that satisfying if you’re not going to a place to eat and not to enjoy the scenery since the place itself actually sells...
