3 Cooks — Restaurant in Kota Bekasi

It's one cafe, or maybe like a bistro, that is quite a hype in Pekayon area. I'd say it's one gem in the area, since there's not much of eating place with a hype concept like this. It's crowded with youngsters, the live music makes it more happening. It serves beer, which makes it contemporary.

However, the execution is subpar. Although the price point is relatively cheap-to-medium for Pekayon area, the fried foods are greasy. I tried the dory with carbonara, and the carbonara came out more like a garnish instead of an actual dish. The flavors are mediocre, in fact it's unsatisfying for a cafe with the modern concept like this.

What I need to emphasize, is the staffs. They are all always clustered, and always look clueless on the food. When a drink came to my table I asked which drink is it (I ordered ice coffee milk and ice chocolate), the waiter was just lost. Other waiters also got confused when I asked what kind of pasta they use in the carbonara, they just straight up consufed thinking all pasta is spaghetti.

Also, why the music is extremely loud? 1. People have to yell just to talk with their parties; 2. You already have loud live music going on (I went here on Saturday night); 3. The staffs can't even hear me when I call them.

I think this place has so much potential, unless this is the quality level that...

A really really recommended Cafe and Resto. Atmosphere is cool. Music playlist is diverse. Also a live music on the weekend. I dont know if there is such a place that serve you a good-taste of food and a well-done beverage in Bekasi. Moreover not many cafe or resto serve beer. You can find it here. You may get 3 with only paying for 2. I dont know if it is a promotional event or not. The service is also incredible. Friendly waiter and waitress. Sadly the wifi connection is such a pain in the ass. 3cooks in on the toplist for hangout. For working? They need to fix the wifi connection first. Yet overall 3cooks is...

4th time here and still don't like the food, partition door between smoking and non smoking area constantly open and the waiter often let those door open, so we still smell the smoke(hate it), last time we ate here, the rice are not perfectly cooked (still hard), and today one of our order not listed and..one of our order (crepes bolognaise) taste so bitter, the wraps looks perfectly fine, but when I checked inside, it's burnt (photo attached)..so yeah, one word : Messy. We leave the restaurant unsatisfied.

Design wise it's cool in Bekasi area, ambience are cool,...
