ABUBA Steak - Harapan Indah — Restaurant in Kota Bekasi

Abuba's atmosphere was pretty nice, it was clean and spacious. The service there was pretty good, staff was kind.

But the problem lies within the food, I ordered the medium rare New Zeland Tenderloin steak with Mushroom sauce. Which was horrible, the steak was like rubber, so hard to chew through. And not to mention the "sear" they did on the steak, it was only grill marks and a really pale crust. It lacked flavour from the beginning, and the mushroom sauce was almost flavourless. Not to mention the stupidly big fat cap, it made up 35% of the steak. And it was inedible to say the least. It was so chewy and hard.

It could have been better in my opinion. The mashed potatoes were really poorly made, in which is having no other taste but boiled potato, it was just to plain. The steak was kind of ok but is too overcooked for medium well and became welldone. How they cook the meat and the fatty part was abit wrong, the fat was really hard too cut and was too stiff while the meat was also chewy. It is also best to not pour the sauce on the steak before serving because it ruins the scenary and taste of the steak. The deserts o NC the other hand like the bread pudding was really good. hmm.. the ambience and waiter just kind and heartwarming, but different about the cooking time (time management) of food serving, i came with 3 my bestfriend ( total 4 guest), we order different menu, after waiting approximately 30 minutes, finally the food ready to serve but just for three of them, and my order doesn't come yet, i waiting till 15 minutes, and i saw my friends dishes almost done, my dishes is still doesn't come! so i decide to cancel my order, i really dissappointed, it's rude and lack of professinalism. I think the chef must learn about cooking time management...
