I've always liked the concept of natural ambience. This restaurant embodies it.
The food is 5/5. The portions will fill you up. I had the grilled gurame and it was delicious. I'd even say that the gurame is similar in quality to the one I had at Talaga Sampireun, which was one of the best gurame I've had in the city. Freshness and spice were just perfect. The spiced eggplant and tauge were excellent as well. Nothing to complain about.
The service though... is a bit questionable. Staff are seen to be tired and overworked, which is a critique for the management to look into their staff hours and workload. Our food came quite late as well. Staff did not exchange pleasantries and it concerned me as a customer. They are pleasant otherwise, but maybe it might be worth looking into their workload...

Do you want a cozy place which represents traditional restaurant or maybe your grandparent's kitchen? Then this is the place. It's also quite insta friendly as well. You can conduct meetings or just hangout with others just fine and have a good time.
Do you want a good restaurants? Well for the meat dishes, yes they are good. Not so much for other menus. I got a bland tofu and almost soggy fritters, but i think thats not just my experience. Also, they're gonna smack your wallet...
