Warung Mak Jo — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

Had dinner here, reccomend the fried chicken with the salty egg sauce shown in the image. The flavours just blends well and match it with some chilli sauce for a slight jazz. Didn't have avocado juice which I loved but had sweet ice tea instead which is shown in the image. The price is fine but the atmosphere is outdoor style so expect warm and humidity. Only had it with dinner so darker image is shown.

Went a second time and now got a black pepper beef with some veggies covered in sweet mayonnaise. Again tasted very nice the beef has that strong pepper taste with the veggies and mayo is just too good. Portioning wise still good.

Third time update got a fish soup packet which is nice. The fried fish was cooked well and the fish in the soup had a descent proportion. The soup tasted a little too salty but other than that it...

"My Indonesian wife and I had a very disappointing dining experience here that I cannot recommend. I ordered the beef ribs which were so tough they were nearly impossible to chew. We also tried their fish dish, two fresh juices, and what appeared to be chicken nuggets that contained very little meat inside the batter.

Unfortunately, we both ended up with Bali belly (food poisoning) afterward. This was particularly concerning since my wife, being Indonesian, normally has a very strong stomach and rarely gets sick from local food.

My advice: stick to local warungs that are busy with customers. I'd recommend avoiding places that try to combine Western and Indonesian cuisine like this one. Currently lying in bed sick - definitely not the experience we...

My favorite since 2013!! Good locations in Jimbaran that serves local cuisine, Asian cuisine and western cuisine at reasonable prices. You get to try different dishes.. Sometimes there would a slight wait time. The food and drinks was good. I ordered Nasi goreng, Ayam Goreng, black pepper beef, baby buncis, nasi sup ikan goreng... and many more..

I came here once for a friend's birthday celebration. I believe it is important to set up a fan upstairs because the place is so hot these days.

I love coming back here. The food is fantastic, the staff just super helpful...
