Stop Makan Yuk — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

I like the food, and the staff also. But I'm just saddened by the fact that they won't stop with their polluting ways. About a year ago they stopped with their plastic straws, bags, and take away containers. They even posted signs, which are still in the warung, about saving the earth by not using plastic. But now their take away containers are styrofoam, which they put in plastic bags, and they give a plastic straw with every drink. I've asked them several times to only give straws when customers ask, or just put then on the tables so customers will only take if wanted, but that falls on deaf ears. I don't eat here as often now as they refuse to change their ways. I hope they can come around and change their ways to become less of a problem for Bali's...

Great place for a dinner. Had several traditional Indonesien dishes. The Ambiente is quite nice - open atmosphere, easy to park and a lot of details which makes the place attractive and comfortable.

The price is really fair - you choose between white, brown and coconut rice and then select whatever you want. The offer around 20 different things including vegetables, meat, pork and fish. Every dish has its own (per unit price). The price for the drinks is also good.

Quality of the food was nice - it was really good but not the best. There is, as always, room for improvement. Especially the beef was a little bit over cooked.

I live nearby and they are popular with foreign tourists but the prices are relatively cheap, and the food are good of course. They sell Indonesian buffet, but they also sell food that is not displayed, just tell one of the girls what you want. Here's my secret, i always order Nasi Bakar there. Chicken Grilled Rice (?) that i loved so much. If you go with the buffet instead, the girl will asked you what kind of rice you want, plain rice, yellow rice, or some other kind of rice.
