Warong Kobong Manado — Restaurant in Manado

It's an outdoor restaurant. So don't imagine a nice cold place with an air-con. But it's quite comfortable in the afternoon. It has a nice view at the back of the restaurant.

This place serves Manadonese food. My mom tried Nasi Kuning but she said it's a "No". She would not recommend it. I ordered their Tinutuan Kobong with white tofu and fried banana. It's a vegetarian food. The taste is not super though. I have tasted much better Tinutuan. And the price is (of course) higher than Tinutuan in small warung. 18.000 rupiahs here but for a big portion.

Subpar, foods are mostly snacks/desserts and light meals. Typical manadonese food consist of "tinutuan/bubur manado and mie cakalang. Services are slow, wait staff on several occasions would get orders mixed up. The restaurant have been opened for several years and yet their services has not improved. The main dining area are so disorderly that I don't know where to begin. It's a missed match of rustic, graffiti cafe theme with modern plastic chairs around. Good place to hang out. Came here once from 10am-5pm with friends to write thesis and we ordered food & drink many times in a day. A little bit scared with the environment because there was a man that cough heavily (i got scared since this is covid-19 era), but we're all wearing mask so it's safe.
