Ayam Penyet Cindelaras KNIA — Restaurant in North Sumatra

Bad experience eat out here.

Firstly, the waiters are like no life intact at all. They just sit in customers dining table even if the customers already come.

Secondly, apparently theres so many menu unavailable, fried tofu and fries unavailable even at 6pm which is dining time.

Thirdly, the place is unhygienic..so many flies fly around. I am busier to keep the flies out rather than eating🤣🤣

Fourth, so confuse with the menu and the waiter explanation. At first i want to order egg fried rice with 'ayam penyet'. But the waiter said the 'ayam penyet' already served with rice. So i cancel and change the order with chicken fried rice. But when i asked for the bill. It turns out the price of my order is separate which fried rice and fried chicken while in the menu the chicken fried rice should cost me just 27k+. But they charge 20k for fried rice and 18k+ for fried chicken. Ofcourse im confused and ask the cashier..but she said well the menu indeed writen that way but the bill will be charge like this. Dont want to argue further and just go on with it and pay. I ask for the chicken breast but they came out thigh chicken instead.

Fifth, the taste. the fried rice is so slimey and watery. If you ask "uncle roger"..your fried rice is a disaster🤣. The white rice is so cold and dried out. Cant complain with the 'ayam penyet', it taste not bad.

This is the first and will be the last time im eating...

Pro: The food was good, especially the sambal penyet and egg fried rice.

Cons: Went there for lunch, however most of the food and drinks were already 'kosong' (not available). Poor waitress need to come and go four times to get our order. Next, ordered food for 6 people. Took half an hour for one drink to arrive, and 15 more minutes for half of the food to arrive. Ultimately waiting 90 mins to get all food and drinks as apparently they forgot about the rest of our order. Not to mention the need to pay extra 10% charge for using the 'VIP area' with faulty air-cond.

Tldr; good food but nor worth the wait...
