Pondok 767 — Restaurant in North Sumatra

Actually this is a good place to hang out, nice and clean with good servicing staffs. But many improvements does need to be considered. The food is so-so comparing its price, making meals feel expensive. The breakfast meals I ordered was soo spicy I'm hardly to eat! I suggest to minimize the chili peppers usage and serve additional chilli paste seperately for customer to adjust. (customer please take a note in this). The food appearance wasn't appealing and the portion was too small. During my last visit we need to wait until 12 o'clock to order our lunch. Beverage is tasty but somehow their coffee is a bit strong for me, you might want to be careful if you sensitive to caffeine. Unfortunately they don't serve decaf. The ambience is nice and windy, you basically sitting on the awning docks listening to boring music (they actually can play soft jazzy tunes instead of old Chinese instrument to build the moods). By the time I visit they still build the docking furthermore to the sea direction. Let's see where this place is going, will it be worthy or...

I came on Friday in the afternoon, after lunch break. It was not crowded at that hour. The eating area is clean and situated above the sea surface, but nothing to worry about.

The price is rather moderate. I ordered vegetarian pizza and it was way below my expectation. The size is okay, but I was expecting more of thickness. It tasted...

NON HALAL

Tempat kece, istilah org2 ya instagramable lah ya, makanan banyak pilihan, tp sayang NON HALAL, karna ada menyajikan KODOK... Buat yg nggak ngerti halal itu gimana. Sedikit penjelasan dari saya... Halal itu bukan hanya no pork atau no lard... Jadi, jika fasilitas baik penyimpanan, alat masak dll nya udh digunain utk masak sesuatu yg non halal, maka non halal lah makanan tersebut selama tidak dilakukan pencucian secara syar'i...

Jangankan yg seperti itu, ayam yg d potong tidak menyebutkan nama Allah aja udh jadi non halal...

Terakhir, kalo tidak percaya, silahkan coba ambil sertifikasi halal, selama masih ada sajian kodok, dijamin gk bakalan lulus sertifikasi...
