I had the joy of visiting this Warung today! The lady who runs the restaurant has a beautiful, warm energy and her cooking is just heaven. I tried the vegetable curry with rice and I have to say, it’s the best curry I’ve tried in Indonesia! All the vegetables are fresh and local and the lady makes her own coconut cream for the base from the coconuts in her farm. I also ordered a young coconut and was pleasantly surprised to see it served with a metal straw (not plastic). The Warung Indah Restaurant is the perfect place to chill and relax after a day of activities on the adventure island of Nusa Penida. Putu and Made are the most amazing hosts!!! The food is incredible and the hospitatilty is the best in Bali! It was raining torrentially. It was not possible to get to the beach. I found this beautiful place with wonderful people (Made. Ketut. Putu). They made me feel very well, then they cooked a delicious dish, abundant and cheap, and shared a long talk with me for several hours while the rain calmed down. As it was not possible to get to the beach, they invited me to their bungalows to have a beautiful view of the landscape. I highly recommend them! They made it a great day for me sharing...
