Sea Breeze Cafe Ceningan — Restaurant in Nusa Penida Subdistrict

We were picked up at the Acala and driven to the Sea Breeze by what later turned out to be the owner and one of his personel. We enjoyed a great cocktail which was served quick and tasted very nice and after a short while I felt the alcohol sinking in.

We ordered grilled fish with white rice and sambal matah, an Pepes Ikan for my wife and it didn't take long for our meals to arrive.

Both plates were very good especially if you take their price into account and the sautéd vegatables tasted very nice in a Light curry sauce and were still having the correct bite to them.

The Sun dropped and the colorful lights went on and with the music it was just a very relaxing experience.

As dessert we ordered roasted Banana cocktail with rum, chocolate and vanille icecream and wow...it tasted so nice.

Afterwards the owner and another persoon drove us back by scooter to our hotel in the dark and I had a great conversation with him, his wife is the cook, so I complimented him.

I highly recommend this place and will be back.

Update: We went back the 17th of March our son's birthday and again had a great time, beer followed by some nice cocksails and great food. The roasted Banana cocktail we had as desert tasted even better than the first time. Super staff, friendly, great Cook, and later we were driven back to our resort again.... Thank you...

This is such a great spot! The vibe here is so relaxed. People are lounging in hammocks, on bean bag chairs, on nets over water, etc. There is regular seating as well. There are swings, over the water, to get a fun photo as well. The views are breathtaking. Coupled with the island vibes music, this is a great place to grab a bite! I got the garlic prawns with rice. It was amazing! The sauce the garlic prawns are swimming in is so, so flavorful. It's a mild curry flavor with various julienned veggies. I would order it again. It was so delectable! My husband got the fish cooked in banana leaves. It was a bit smaller than expected, but a great dish. It needed a sauce, in my opinion, but it was still enjoyable. He ordered a watermelon juice, which was refreshing and I ordered a coconut. Overall, a wonderful experience. The staff are incredibly friendly! Love, love, love...

We came in for the live music and dinner tonight and happy hour till 8! Well the classic Margarita was the worst my husband and I ever tasted in 30 years bali! God knows what was in it!! Couldn’t taste any alcohol, nothing! Just a weird flavor The mango Margarita was a bit better but the mango was over ripe so left a strong flavor! The Margarita was sent back and the bartender got all annoyed. We asked politely if we could change it…for a mojito, well that was even worse with a caramel syrup mixed in. Anyway we paid and left. The bartender should be trained better. Go next door to The Island! Great margaritas and an amazing ginger mojito! Same happy hour at 50k but this guy Putu/Harry knows his drinks!
