Great place, great ambience, good service, however weird experience. Live music, simply a vocalist with a guitarist, loved it, great duo. Good ample selection of F & B. When we ordered snacks, had the impression that was antipasti. And the pasta, pizza & burger as entrée. So the drinks came out 1st, followed by the pizza & pasta. Then upon enquiry of the snacks, eventually the bitterballen & popcorn chicken came out, followed by the burger at the end. Anyway just light hiccups, but the food were great. We really enjoyed them, every piece. The carbonara i thought was just okay. The burger patty was cooked medium, tender juicy. Pizza crust was awesome, loved the four-cheese topping, delightful. So right at the end, apparently the restaurant gave us compliment dessert, based on spendings. Two plates were placed on table, a muffin & craquelin. Wife & i were talking when suddenly another waiter came over to apologize quickly & took away the craquelin, as it was meant to be for another table, next to us. I'd reserve my opinion on what they did, but never in my 40-yrs of eating out, that ever happened, felt illl-feel after. Somemore when that craquelin was placed on neighbour's table, they digged in immediately. If i knew my complimentary plate just came off someone else's table, how would i know that plate was yet untouched ? Made me wonder & to be aware next time. We would still comeback next time, for the food & atmosphere. But pls don't serve me compliment plate & leaving me...

Bringing the big name of Holywings Group, this restaurant does not meet our expectations in terms of service.

On a Sunday evening, we ordered 3 foods and 2 beverages with the help of a server. However, 1 food was not served; they said there was a miscommunication in printing our order. To make things worse, they informed us this only AFTER we asked (and this was AFTER we FINISHED the 2 foods!). I really cannot imagine how this member of Holywings Group messed up a simple order for 2 people. Note that the restaurant was not that crowded: the guests were only us and other 3-4 groups.

They offered 2 cups of gelato as their apology (AFTER we complained!). But we refused since my gf has not had proper meal the whole day (that’s why we came to this restaurant, right?). Then I complained to the manager and he offered us to takeaway the missing food. Again, we refused. The disappointment made my gf’s stomach full already.

However, the 2 foods were okay: udon carbonara pork belly and meat...

My order never came, sadly. So I ordered chicken rollade as I was having company dinner here. It was a VIP room with more than 10 people. After about 30 mins I inquired again for my order that hadn’t come, then waited another 10 mins to inquire my order for 2nd time. After 5 mins the waiter came back to say that my order was not inputted yet, and I was really speechless. I didn’t make a fuss about it because it was a company dinner, but I am really disappointed. I’ve been to many restaurants with various classes and this is the first time ever happened to me, in a place I least expected to happen, perhaps I expected too much from this restaurant. Luckily we ordered some side dishes, and I later ordered a dessert (that really came, fortunately). I was going to give 1 star, but I guess the dessert worth something though it’s not so special too. I hope it will improve though sorry to say, I won’t come back...
