Market City concept is similar like Farmers Market, most people thinks this place is crazy expensive and scared to enter, and go to Lulu on the opposite side.
Actually some products are cheaper than Lulu! For example you can buy fresh chicken cheaper and more fresh compare to Lulu. Sometimes I go to Lulu (better for vegetables) then otw back stop by MC for meat.
But here you must be very careful and check every item's price before you buying, same trick Farmers Market doing, most items are same price with other markets but some of the items are crazy expensive you don't expect that and take it without checking the price.
Like the other day I bought 2 packs of Quaker instant oatmeal 1.2kg, this items normal price is around 60k, when I reach home I realized 1 pack cost me 120.
They have 2x / month 15% discount on fruits for members.
I still prefer Market City, more clean and employees...

But it's quite the opposite when I'm dressed casually (which is often the outfit for most visitors in the residential area supermarkets). In my case, the service staff pointed out the location of the fruits using their chin and said 'tuh' . Of course, there was no offer to assist in choosing them, also 🙃🙃
But don't worry, I'll still shop here considering the distance, choices, and quality of the products, even though the service I received was...
Read moreBe very careful with this shop, some of the items, the price they write and the actual price far different. Like in this picture It's written 31rb but it's actually 99rb, if I weren't careful on the cashier I was going to get cheated. It happened before same shop, I warned them many times but they don't care, looks like this is their business model which is so sad. About the onions they said it's another product's price tag, but that product is not in this basket, and this product they didn't even write the price. Dear Market City management "this is called scam, this is cheating, this...
