My friends and I like to go to new coffee shops that are happening. We decided to go to âTerraâ. When we got off the car, we like the white and spacious of this place. But itâs pretty quick as there was staff directing us to sit on the reserved seat. I asked him the corner seatâs availability in the room. He said itâs reserved. We were confused why he offered us seats which were reserved but we couldnât have the one we chose. We were grumpy. Not only that. When we ordered the food, the mixed platter, the staff who was taking our order said itâs not ready. Then we ordered another one which was still fried one too. She gave the same answer. We didnât order any food. In the Google they said they open at 9am. We were there around 5 pm! Moreover, the menu book is hard to be opened! Wow! I asked one of the staff if I could meet the manager. She said the person was not there. She informed me that I could talk with her if thereâs a problem and then she would escalate it to the manager. So I told her everything that made us upset. She gave explanation about the âreserved seatâ. She said that some customers like to move from one table to another table. Well, me myself come to a coffee shop not only for buying coffee or drinks and food but also the service. And service is not about money. Itâs more valuable than that. Customerâs satisfaction is a marketing tool that can attract other customers. They also should be ready with different kinds of customers. I am sure Terra as a coffee shop knows it. Yet, the quick length of order served is a good point. Also with the paper that explain about the coffee that we order is the signature that they...
Read moreI had good times with my friend here. I came at lunch time (1 PM) on Friday, situation was not too crowded. I saw elders in the corner had a good chit chat while theyâre eating. And some people were work or studying together on few tables (indoors) and some few tables at outside occupied ( a bit sunny day)
We ordered ice cafe latte, ice matcha, croissant sandwich and soup with meat and bones (I forgot my friendâs food nameđ)
Overall the drink and food came out in a good time. The taste I could say nothing special but it was okay (donât expect the taste would be as good as in the 5 stars hotel or your fave restaurant). The portion was ok, not overly big, satisfied our hunger. My friend said the ice matcha latte was too sweet for her. My ice cafe latte was good. The croissant sandwich taste was ok, just the salad was taste more like pickles for me. Maybe if they put mayo or balsamic vinegar would be perfect for me instead of something sweet.
The ambience was good. Decoration, lighting, the seat capacity quite good and perfect to hangout with your friends. Their staff was friendly and helpful (we asked for pictures few times and very helpful).
The parking area for car quite big for a cafe, and so easy to find this place (signed board was big enough for us to see from a far)
I recommend to everyone in Pekanbaru to visit this cafe to hangout or for work. But I donât know their wifi speed as I didnât came for work or study, I didnât use their wifi. And maybe I will come again if I have another...
Read moreWent to this coffee shop yesterday and was disappointed with the service. We appreciated the staff who directed us to seat at the table for 3-4 people but on the table there was reserved tag. And the place we actually wanted to sit was on the corner (table for 3-4 people as well) which happened to have a reserved tag as well. He said the one in the corner was reserved while the one that he directed us to sit wasn't actually reserved. This made us had a negative thought that all the reserved tags on the table were not actually reserved but one of the tactics to guide or direct the customer to sit where the staff think suitable for them.
There were various options of foods and drinks but unfortunate we couldn't order the Mix Platter and other fried foods since they ran out of cooking oil (I was really in a bad mood when I heard the staff's answer). She then offered us to order dessert that of course we refused as we had been disappointed (since the beginning- the table case). The menu was hard to open, not practical & efficient although the paper & pic were good.
Well, anyway..Terra has a spacious place to hang out with friends and it would be much better if Terra's willing to improve the service. Hopefully Terra also will provide a prayer room.
Terra provides free wifi, clean toilet, and parking lot for cars & motorbikes. The presentation of their coffee is also good. ... This review is based on my first visit to Atterra on Tuesday,...
