Warung Merry — Restaurant in Pekanbaru

I have been to this place twice and both of them always with same impression; this place is always pack with people coming for breakfast. Sure i came here in the morning so mostly i see people hunting breakfast. This place shows the freshness of their cooking both fried, steamed, or simply with soup or curry. The option of drinks from hot soybean milk to anything like fruits mixed are there. you can simply asking for chicken, beef or simply vegerarian style like gado-gado for mixed vegetable with coconut sauce. Even you can find satay jengkol (if not mistaken). This place has spacious parking lot at its left side. so, for your stop, eat and go,,,you can visit this place.

You can eat Buffet style here, the food is good so good, my favorite is steamed chicken and blackpepper chicken, they are one of the legend in pekanbaru, been here since 1998, they also have a lot of snacks here, some unique appetizers like halal version of bakcang(usually made with sticky rice and pork) and refreshing ximilu ice. They got a big parking space too

Airy space with carparks. One of the great place in Pekanbaru for family breakfast.

Halal certified and serves a wide range of food and cakes. However the food is just ok, the Lontong Medan taste normal, I had better ones though the portion is big. Not sure why they are not selling different kind of lontongs. We bought others for takeaways too.

Price is affordable and good.
