Cafe d’Aurelie — Restaurant in Pondok Aren

An absolute gem this place is. A cute little French Bistro located in new Pasar Modern Bintaro Sektor 7. Decor feels like you're in a small bistro Cafe in Paris. Minimalist but warm and cozy. Not many seating area but okay. 2nd floor is not cold enough though. So consider sit on ground floor for better comfort.

The owner is very friendly. Didn't quite catch his name but He's French obviously and very attentive. Asking how's our food. He speak english fluently and speak some bahasa Indonesia.

We order Canele de Bordeaux, Steak and Frites, Avocado Toast, Ice Americano and Pristine mineral water.

Everything tasted good. The steak was okay. Asked for medium but come out more of rare to medium rare. The potato wedges also really good and homemade. But the saving grace is the mushroom sauce. It taste heavenly! Its so good I can just eat a whole bottle of it hahahaha..

Next the Canele also tasted really good. Perfect taste and texture. They also give small cookies when you order coffee. It also taste good with a hint of cinnamon.

Next the Avocado toast. If you like Avo... You will definitely love this. Its like 1 full fruit they put on the plate. The portion is more than enough. Yes its a bit pricey but its worth every penny.

All in all its hard to look for this place's fault because the food even the coffee its pretty tasty. Worth a seldom 5 stars from me.

Everything was ok place was clean and has some french vibe but I will have to say service could of been better. For the price on the menu I expected somewhat the inside to be bigger or more exclusive with a nice white sheet on the table and a better seat but it is a bit small and crampy in there. Price and food and beverage is not matching (I had the steak and escargot and a detox juice)

I would say I have had much better steak for less than 250k and this is just really really plain look and taste for a nearly 300k basic steak!!

The green beans was a bit dull and tasteless, should have been better prepared or so.

Escargot was good but it needed more parsley and an extra appliance to hold the shell with (like a clamp or something) so I don’t have to use my fingers for it. Other than that; it is still nice and delicious of course!

Everything was Yummy but there could have been some improvements. I still feel it is slightly Overpriced on a lot of the menu.

The drink detox juice I had was delicious and fresh though but completely overpriced close to $7 usd for a small glass.

Overall I had a nice lovely time with my Family.

Will I come back again: Quite Possible 🙂

I have been hearing and planning for sometimes to visit this French restaurant but always failed for some reason. Finally I manage to come to this restaurant together with my family. Located in the trending area of Bintaro, this restaurant has been opened for some time and becomes one the popular place in the neigborhood.

No wonder this two story restaurant is popular since the service is top notch, menu selections is on the right balance between variery and quantity, high quality food and good taste. The portion of the food also good, it is fresh and taste is great.

It has nice athmosphere with mostly French ambience. It does not serve alcohol nor pork which I appreciated it a lot. The space a little bit tight but still acceptable and they have limited seat in outdoor area. Good option for family, couples and single visitors.

Definitely a great place if you want to find french food or just looking for a great food dan place. If you have happened to be in the area or planning to come to this are definitely you should try...
