I recently had the opportunity to dine at Goela Gelato—a place I had only visited previously for take-away gelato. Deciding to explore their dining options, I was eager to see what they had to offer beyond their delightful frozen treats.

Starting with the Aglio Prawn Pasta, I was immediately impressed. As a pasta enthusiast, I have high standards, and this dish did not disappoint. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the prawns were succulent, creating a harmonious blend of flavors that left me craving more. It was a satisfying dish that I would definitely order again.

Next up was the Pepperoni Pizza. This dish proved to be another winner. The pizza had a delightful crispy crust, and the pepperoni was generously spread, providing a rich and savory experience with every bite. It was exactly what you would hope for in a classic pepperoni pizza – simple yet incredibly flavorful.

I also decided to try something a bit different with the Hawaiian Rice. While this dish wasn't exactly to my personal taste, I couldn't help but appreciate its unique presentation. Served directly in a pineapple shell, it was visually striking and added a fun twist to the dining experience. Although it wasn't my favorite, it certainly made an impression.

To finish off the meal, I indulged in the Tiramisu Coffee Dessert. This dessert was a perfect conclusion, with its soft and creamy texture that melted in my mouth. The flavors were well-balanced, and it provided a sweet and satisfying end to a delightful meal.

The place is huge! The location is quite hidden though, and the road to the place is... horrible 😅 (Please be careful if you are using motorcycle, especially during rainy days. It's full of holes and rocks.) Despite claiming as a gelato place, the gelato flavors are only limited to eight (8) flavors; in which some of them are too sweet for my tastebuds, but the rest is okay. The pistachio gelato is nice, a little bit too sweet. Next is the OVEN-BAKED pizza! Omg, I love the crispiness of the thin slices so much! 🍕❤ And the amount of cheese! 🧀❤ Worth the try!!! This is a hidden restaurant as you would know it existed as it is a neighbourhood filled with houses and it looks like a house until you get close to it. The other unique feature about this restaurant is that the pizza oven is outside so it leaves the restaurant cooler. If you are after a good pizza then this is the place to come as they are delicious and thin and crispy. These were the thinnest pizzas that I have seen and tasted and was not disappointed. The Ceasar salad was delicious and the service was quick and did not have to wait too long for anything except the pizzas.
