Secret Bay restaurant — Restaurant in Pulau Bali

We went there for Dinner on the 19th of August with a group of friends and it was a complete disaster........first they ran out of cold bintang and didnt even tell us they had other brands of beer that were cold....we had to ask a couple times to put our order in for our meals.....when they finally took them half an hour later the waiter comes back and says they had run out of two of the meals so they reorder. only then for the waiter to come back and say they didnt have that either.....finally one of our crew went up to the kitchen to ask if any entrees had been cooked as the time was 8.45 and we ordered at 6.45 they said no....so that was it we cancelled our meals as we knew we were not going to receive a meal at all..........no cold beer...poor service...run out of food....takes 30 minutes to realize certain meals they dont have.....and takes over 2 hours to even think about cooking your entrees. We had been there a couple times before during the day just having a look...we found the staff there weren't helpful at all....the bean bags look ratty....its a shame it could be a really good venue......but in the meantime dont waste...

I initially wrote a 5-star review about this restaurant & had returned quite a few times since then. Unfortunately, this will be my final time.

I was given the wrong amount of change for the purchase of my food by 50,000 Rupiah. When I explained to Made that the amount was incorrect, he insisted that I gave him a lesser amount than I did although I am 100% sure of the amount I gave him. So watch your money if/when you go.

Lovely location but the food a real disappointment. Although it claims to be a seafood restaurant with daily specials, everything is frozen (as acknowledged by the staff).

We tried a few dishes but the curries were like spiced water, the chicken was boney and gristley and the prawn dish was pathetic with only four small prawns in it.

The service was mixed - the ladies were really good but one of the two men was as miserable as sin.

Given it is twice the price of everywhere else in Balian Beach, I’d suggest you go...
