Starbucks Gatsu Mudutaki — Restaurant in Pulau Bali

I really hate to give one star to this place because I’ve been coming here since 2023, and I come here a lot. But the other day, I got harassed by the parking staff, and it was a really unpleasant experience.

So there are two parking spots for bikes, one in front of the main entrance facing the main road, and one on the side. The parking at the side entrance was full. When I got there, I asked the guy if I could park parallel so that he could move my bike when someone left, but his response was rude. He said no and insisted that I park my bike next to the road. Like, it wasn’t even in their space anymore it was literally on the road. I told him I didn’t want to park there because it wasn’t safe for my bike. He wasn’t very friendly and said something like, “Okay, then just don’t park here.”

I tried to keep my tone calm, so I just went to the main entrance and parked my bike there. After that, when I was about to leave, he (who usually only stays at the side entrance) saw me coming out of the store and rushed back to the main entrance to collect the parking fee. I really don’t mind paying for parking every time I visit, that’s not a problem for me. But when he’s being rude, I don’t feel like paying, because it just doesn’t make sense.

He rushed toward me, waited for me to get my bike out, and demanded money. I politely said sorry and even made a nice gesture with my hands. Then he started yelling at me, shouting, and blowing his whistle. That was really unpleasant. Honestly, I feel unsafe got harassed by this guy, and it makes me not want to come back.

So please pay attention to your customer experience. Also, when I read the other comments here, I saw several people complaining about the parking situation as well. Please do...

Comfortable yet busy place! I was surprised that this place is soooo crowded after 11am and i was speechless. This Starbucks location is fairly new in town, strategically placed between Denpasar and Dalung area and you could easily spot it. I was here (first time!) with my friend and i was a bit surprised that my ice latte venti size ☕ was not included with sugar. SURPRISINGLY I LIKE IT! The coffee was not too bitter and i can enjoy the milk inside the mix! Also, in the afternoon, i order Vanilla Cream venti size too! And it was sugary, creamy, the caramel sauce on top was nice too and it looks cute! 🥛 I love it!! Overall, the price (a bit too expensive for me) and the comfort for the place you could get (minus the crowd, obviously), i would rate this as 4.5 ⭐/5!!! I love it! If i somehow have money, i would love to order the Latte again!

The parking area was quite spacious! There is a drive thru place too! They have broad options in their menu too! They have separate area outside for smoking area which is BLESSING, i can breathe better! The service is a bit meh, but not bad. Would love to visit...

Busy! Once I opened the door almost all seats were occupied, mostly in groups! More staffs at the counter means you get served immediately and you have your orders quickly. Friendly as all Starbucks staffs are, they are very helpful in helping me choosing their customised beverages . To additional happiness and my craze on the mug, guess what? I GOT my cappucino in STARBUCKS MUG!!! OH HOW I MISSED THAT MUG I CONTINUED ASKING FOR IT EVERY TIME I AM AT STARBUCKS! LOVE IT!!! LOVE IT!!! LOVE IT!!! Plastic and paper cups will change the flavour of coffee I just learnt that 🙈) and that mug saves the forest and more eco friendly ❤️❤️ Anyway, anyway... The seating areas are spacious. You can choose whether you want to sit indoor comfy with AC or outside. There are three different sets of seating arrangement you can choose. Ah, ah... That cappucino was as good as always! Love it to the moon and back!!! Parking area is spacious. But, there's always but: we have to pay for parking :( .
