Puri Saron Hotel Denpasar — Hotel in Denpasar Barat

I stayed in this hotel for 3 months, in the beginning being new in the country it was all a bit overwhelming and getting used to the environment. Although this does not excuse that we had to use the public toilet because after asking the HK a couple of times to fix our toilet it took longer than 4 days. and we often had only cold water in our shower||||Cleanliness of the hotel could be better, as there were a lot of rats running around who were seen and heard on several occasions. ||||Staff service was good in the beginning but slacked towards the end of our stay as the one lady in the restaurant took the phone of the hook because she did not want to do room service or told us that she did not feel like bringing our order upstairs. ||||Front office was always very helpful and knew me by name within the first 2 weeks which was nice. The hotel was very basic and provided the necessary amenities E.g. toothbrush, soap, shampoo and a complimentary bottle of water.||||Housekeeping is very average although is lacking when it comes to cleaning the showers and the balcony. thus cleanliness is also very basic. The staff is very friendly although they can get annoying when they shout outside "housekeeping".||||Restaurant is overpriced and the food portions are very small so I didn't find it beneficial to eat there. The staff is very friendly though and is always willing to help.||||The hotel can get very noisy as there was always big groups staying there with lots of children . therefore for this reason I wouldn't advise this hotel for business stay.||||Reception staff is very friendly is the only area where you can get staff which understand English.||||The WiFi was definitely an issue as it tripped from time to time ( a lot ).||||I was a university student who stayed at Puri Saron Hotel...

My room was a total disaster. The air conditioning was not working properly. The timer was on, it was impossible to turn it off so the air conditioning always turned off. The bathroom was very dirty, as the pictures show. Actually there was no clean part. Under the cabinets it was dirty every day so housekeeping don't really care about cleanleness. The blankets and pillow covers were always dirty, it was stained.||The breakfast was way below average. Usually there were egg, pancake, bread, few jam and fruit. Unbelievable. It's a 3-star hotel so it should be better, Actually the only positive thing I can say is that the staff is very friendly and kind. ||Unfortunately, I have to stay in this hotel for 10 weeks because my university is close by but I am sure that I won't come back in this...
