Best traditional drink ever!!!really without doubt...for foreigners, this dessert are very traditional and an important essence of true java heritage. This are made either with a lot of ginger or tons of boiled peanuts (there are 2 option) sooo, consider yourself warned. And the place itself are very hard to find. Located inside a narrow alley of a market and of course space are limited and its extremely busy here soo sometimes you have to que like forever to eat here so i always do take away (even with take away you'll still have to wait for quite a while) But still, for my fellow Indonesian. This place is a must whenever you visit Salatiga. Oh i think the do have another outlet in Semarang.

You can taste the freshness of the orange peel sweets, the chrunciness of the roasted peanut and the surprise of the glutinous rice ball filling. A bowl will not be enough. They also offer batagor and other snacks. The place is always full but waiting is worth doing. Going to Salatiga without taking time to Ronde Jago is not enjoying Salatiga indeed. Please make sure you are not queue in at prime time, as it may take you an hour or so...
