Balai Coffee — Restaurant in Serpong

To be honest, the coffee was good - worth the price. Nevertheless, I experienced bad service here. I was doing an exam with my friends and we did order food & drinks. However the staff kept asking us whether we wanted to order again and such, this makes me uncomfortable. Then, they asked us to move to another table saying that the table was reserved. We chose to move, but apparently no one sits there until we finished our exam.

All in akl, I think it would be nice that the staff can communicate way more nicely. Several times I went there quite late and wanted to sit upstairs, I asked them what time the upper floor will be closed and they only responded “sebentar lagi”. It’s a small stuff, but I think this should...

I went pass it so many times, saw the front but never stopped by. Until a friend of mine asked me to meet up there. And I was just, Wowed! The Interior is Classy and Elegant. Many comfy couches to choose. The lightings are also convenient. Instagrammable place to hang out I must say. There they have smoking and non-smoking area. On the second floor, there's a piano. I think the guests can play with it. Now the menus, you can choose from Indonesian and Western food. The coffee is great, they offer many options. Luv the Latte. Good coffee, delicious snack (banana fritters), comfort place, quiet ambience with no background music only chatters and couples around, good for relaxing. Although it still a pleasant moment to have a coffee here yet somehow something was missing. The hospitality were off. Some staff look tired even though their service was good. Took about some time to get my order complete, the coffees were done in a few minutes though. Perhaps a smile, warm welcome and nice gesture from the staff will brighten the mood around because it felt creepy, not...
