The most favorite dish here is javaneese grill chicken (ayam bakar), same with the restaurant name. The taste is very authentic and traditional...delicious, the sweetness, umami, spices are balance. Another popular dishes are fried chicken, fried gurami, grill gurami. They also have some dishes from vegetables like chicken soup, "tumis kangkung", "ca tauge ikan asin", "tumis daun ginseng" and various chilli sauce.

The place is spacious, with friendly and patience staffs. The food were ok, nothing to really shout about. The accompanying sambal is the most to my liking. It is spicy and the aroma of it is good enough to go with just plain rice. The sayur assam is too sweet which doesn't really like. The chicken, both bakar and goreng are both quite tasty. But if you are not to the sweet stuff, then forgo the bakar due to its sweet source. The BBQ chicken liver also a must try if you like chicken organs. It was grilled to a perfect toughness with the degree of cooked. The fish was dry and have to be extra careful with the fish bone. Generally still a good place for food...

The place is really huge and it offers a lot of space to enjoy your meal. You don't have to worry about finding a seat. However, when i visited this place, the parking lot is full, even though there are a lot of vacant seat inside. You can even find a spot to take pictures inside.

The foods are delicious, especially the roasted chicken. The meat is tender and the spices is just right. However, i don't really like the kale as it is taste weird in my mouth. They play a traditional Javanese music inside so it brings a traditional Javanese vibe when you...
