KFC - Wiyung — Restaurant in Surabaya

New branch of famous General Saunders' fried chicken in Wiyung area, Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Located just in the corner of the gate of Taman Pondok Indah housing, Wiyung. Drivethrough is available. Parking space is quiet limitted. Maybe like 8 - 10 cars.

Available indoor and outdoor, KFC Cafe is used as outdoor space aswell. 24 hours service

The pics I post were based on my first visit here. It was dinner on Sunday, lots of kids running around, screaming, and what really bother me is how the parents let their kids spill their food (rice) all over the floor and even on the chair..! Like come on.. it is not your own house. Give more respect to others or next customer will be a decent thing to do.

🍗 menu disini ya tentu sudah sesuai standar KFC Indonesia. Dimana-mana sama saja. Ditambah disini ada KFC Coffee, mereka menjual kopi dan snack (donat dan pukis)

📍restoran ini tergolong baru. Menggunakan desain restoran KFC terbaru. Dengan 2 pintu, semacam ada foyer sebelum masuk ke hall restoran nya. Terletak di Raya Wiyung Menganti, dulunya bekas supermarket giant. Untuk tepatnya di pojokan pintu masuk perumahan Taman Pondok Indah atau sebelum polsek Wiyung atau kecamatan Wiyung.

🙅‍♂️ Karena termasuk restoran baru. Mereka menggunakan sudah menggunakan self kiosk untuk order dan membayar. Dari 2 mesin self kiosk/ order waktu saya datang hanya 1 mesin yang menyala. Untuk order cukup mudah dipahami untuk user interfacenya. Tapi kendala datang bukan dari mesin nya. Setelah berhasil memesan dan keluar nomor antrian, saya menunggu cukup lama di depan meja atau tv. Saya tunggu lama nomer antrian saya tidak keluar di proses, bahkan orderan setelah saya dan drive thru yang baru datang lebih cepat keluar. Padahal saya hanya memesan paket super besar. Setelah beberapa orang setelah saya mendapatkan apa yang mereka pesan. Baru saya tanya ke petugas disana (dibalik meja) nomer saya kok keluar. Setelah di cek, ternyata memang belum disiapkan orderan saya 🤦. Pengalaman ini tidak saya alami dj KFC Soehat malang (juga KFC baru dengan self kiosk). Jadi mungkin perlu ditraining lagi untuk petugas disini dengan system...

Well, it's KFC, so l'm not going to talk about the food. The place is quite nice, indoor with kid's corner and outdoor space where you're allowed to smoke. Parking lot isn't too spacy on high season. The ice cream comes with quite a few variants and actually quite tasty, krusher not so much. Self order and self payment is available, preparation is fast so it suits the fast food tag.
