Tried the bacang or 肉粽. It's made with rice, instead of glutinous rice, typical of the Malaysia's version. As a result, downing this bacang will not leave you feeling too full to savor other dishes.
The sop bakut or 肉骨汤 was flavorful, thanks to the pork bones & meat. In addition, there was salted vegetable in the soup, which lends a briny taste to help balance the fattiness from the pork.

Read morePork satay from Ko Encung is quite unique for me, it served with peanut sauce rather than simple sweet soy sauce. Unfortunately i'd enjoy my pork satay with sweet soy sauce and chili. Still, the meat is big and juicy, especially the pork belly one. The bakut is not sour enough for me and they can be pretty stingy with the ribs. But the bacang is glorious, you should get one!
