I have been lucky enough that someone showed me this place. As an Indonesian native that has lived for a long time in Germany, I have to say, this place is a cafe with the most authentic German taste I have ever found in Tasikmalaya. The products, the atmosphere, the owner and the assistants are a great example of how two different cultures can be harmonized and completed each other.
The assistants have been trained in Germany, so the products can be guaranteed with German mixed with local taste, thus the local buyers won't feel strange about the breads and the pastry, yet the Europeans, especially the Germans still enjoy it a lot. To add insult to injury, when I tried to order a simple spring water, they didn't even have that available. It's like they're actively trying to disappoint their customers. it's safe to say I won't be returning...
