TL;DR: It seems like they try so hard to justify the pricing with the portioning while forgetting about the taste and all other aspects of a good food altogether.
The parking space is rather adequate. Family-sized seats with wall fans along the room. The staff is friendly. Big bites of sate kambing.
Big bites of sate kambing came with uneven doneness, it wasn't cooked through despite being burnt on the outside. Sate ayam was pathetically bland and weirdly enough, they only served the meat part when serving the skin part alongside is the norm for the sake of the taste. The portion of sate ayam didn't justify the pricing. Peanut sauce was not tasty despite already looking quite dark (which should've signify the presence of soy sauce). Taste didn't justify the pricing at one bit. Tiny portion of lontong, though in their defence they already told us they only have one lontong left. Cold freaking rice for sate kambing was not okay. The staff told us that gule comes as a package with 10 skewers of sate kambing. We ordered 20 but only wanted 1 portion of gule, so maybe that's why it was counted as an a la carte dish. Taste didn't justify the pricing at one bit (2). The place was filled with flies, too busy swatting flies to eat peacefully. Horrid sink and toilet.
Guess it's true that sate kambing can induce hypertension, especially if it's a disappointingly expensive...
Read moreIf you order more than 10 pcs satay they will shove you with their trashy gulai that consist of left over bone from the butchered goat. However if They want force customer to buy their gulai, at least improve your damned gulai seasoning! Don't come here by yourself if you don't want to get upset by her attitude towards customers, at least ask other to interact with the owner that happened to be the cashier if you don't want to feel not worth to spend money here (to be honest, satay was awesomely delicious but your...
Read moreI did't come here plenty enough. I should. The lamb skewer is phenomenal! They're in large chunks, soft, moist, sweet. Delicious. This establishment is not thriving enough due to location problems. The place is a bit to the small side. And parking is not nearly enough. Access is quite easy from Juanda Highway exit, but you have to know the place to get to it. Map sometime gives the incorrect path. It's not too expensive, but the price is way above average lamb skewer retail price. Those of you who haven't tried this and are near by, you should try it....
