Few years ago, there was no ticket entrance,. The customer could have a meal in the restaurant and if they wanted to enjoy the tea walk they can buy the ticket. But nowadays, the customers should buy the ticket for tea walk :') as I remember, 25k or 30k/pax.
There are some restaurants in here. The main restaurant is in front of near the street. The others are located inside the tea garden. We can also enjoy the glamping in here with some option of tents or mini villa. Available the mini playgorund 20k/pax and horse riding too. We can also watch the waitress making the traditional tea. There are lots of area to take an instagramable photos.
The minus:
the toilets in the mushola (the building with the dome shape) is sooo stinky and dirty. It is very uncomfortable to take a wudhu in there. I was so dissappointed, because other toilets (inside all restaurants and mushola near camping tent is clean, only the dome shape musholla that is so dirty, smells not good). Honestly, I was affraid if the musholla also will affected (najis) from the water splash from our foot that walked from the toilet to has a pee or wudhu.
The food served was not hot. It was already made long before and then served in plate when we order. The system is not order first then the cooker...
Read moreI visited Asstro Highland quite early in the morning, so unfortunately the restaurant was still closed since it only opens at 1 PM. That meant I could only enjoy the tourism side of the place, but it was still a nice experience to walk around.
The parking area is very spacious, accommodating buses, cars, and motorcycles. The surroundings are full of greenery with tea plantations and strawberry fields, which makes the view very refreshing. Even though the sun was bright, the air felt cool and pleasant.
There are several activities you can try here such as flying fox and ATV rides. They also have an amphitheatre and a resort or hotel if you want to stay overnight. However, apart from taking photos and joining those activities, there isn’t much else that stands out. When I went, many groups were having outbound activities, so it felt quite crowded even though it was a weekday. There is also an option to rent a car to go up to the higher area which makes it easier to explore.
Overall, for me the experience was just average. The scenery is beautiful and there are some fun activities, but if you are not into outbound or adventure rides, you might find it a bit plain. Still, it is a decent spot to stop by if you are already...
Read moreAsstro Highlands Ciater is a sprawling destination, offering a unique blend of stunning natural scenery and a satisfying culinary experience. The grounds here are truly massive, with tea plantations stretching as far as the eye can see, along with glamping and lodging options dotted across the landscape. A heads-up for visitors: you'll need to be fit to explore this place. The paths are steep, so it's not a spot where an older person could comfortably walk around if they want to explore the place on foot. After working up an appetite, the food was a fantastic reward. The Paket Gepuk for three was a highlight, with tender, savory beef that was perfectly prepared. We also ordered the Karedok Campur, a fresh and crisp dish with a well-balanced peanut sauce that offered a great contrast. We also ordered some fruit juices for beverages. Overall, Asstro Highlands Ciater excels by combining a vast, immersive environment with solid food. It’s a compelling destination for those who appreciate both the scenery...
