A very WOW place 🤩🤩 I really enjoy every facilities and service they provide and offer here. Totally neat, clean, and complete. I spent almost 4 hours maybe, but time seems flies easily. Well spent! At first, we need to purchase the entrance ticket per person and per vehicle at the front gate, and then drive up to a kilo more to reach the parking area. Once you enter the garden, there's already a nice spot to take a picture! The ticket checking gate was also beautiful, there is an officer that take a picture for you and family. Stepping into the garden there's Pine Kitchen that has instagram-able cutey seating area. Usually beautiful cafe or resto has so-so taste, but I think this kitchen has delicious main course (I didn't buy thr snacks). The air was fresh with morning sun rays; it's perfect! Walking down the areas, surely every turns and sides has amazing spots to take pictures. Along our walks, there are also speakers that play instrumental music. It spices up the experience! There are some officers that guide you which way to go to explore the whole Orchid forest. In the middle of the walking there are also separated resto/food stalls, and food court. So you don't need to worry to get hungry and thirsty. There are some other areas inside the forest that required some payment (optional, only if you wish to) like the orchid store (they sell cacti and varied orchids), rabbit house (hands on experience with rabbits--suitable for kids), Orchid Castle (suitable for kids), Wooden Bridge (20K per person--free flying fox), and if you wish to take home the pictures taken bu the Orchid Forest officers there are booths to print and copy the soft files (2 printed photos plus all soft files for 70k - 100K)

I would have loved to give this attraction 5 stars, but was unable to view it completely due to inclement weather! The air was however very clean and fresh, and decidedly cool, in addition to very wet! For me as an orchid lover, it was worth the travel time and price to view the orchid tunnel and associated exhibits. I wish that a little more information was available on the individual species displayed. It was also most annoying to not be able to see the rarer specimens without having to view through perspex or acrylic which destroyed the view of these beautiful plants. Pricewise, as I have said it was worth it to me. Some commenters on here have said that the price is for a meal which you have to buy, I would say that the price is for the attraction and the meal if you decide to have it, is a bonus. Can't comment on the quality of the food, but tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and other drinks were fine. I thought that the shop for orchid sales was not stocked with enough varieties for the true orchid officionado, and the prices were quite high; for example 150k for common dendrobiums, which I can purchase for less than 30k close to my house. Some orchid books, and accessories for the orchid lover would be a bonus as well. We will definitely be going back with our son, who is also very interested in orchids, worth the trip from Tangerang to Bandung I would say. Sorry can't comment on the other facilities as the rain was too heavy to even contemplate walking through the forest, but what we did see was beautiful, the gardens and park are clean and well maintained, and for the Instagramm addicts there were many, many photo opportunities.

Hmmm.. I do want to give this place a perfect 5 stars. No really I do. This place is much much much better than kebon Raya Cibodas or Kebon Raya Bogor. Much better. Colder weather, beautiful place with many instagramable place to take photos. Dedicated children playground, amazing wooden bridge and zip lining to the lower ground after going to the wooden bridge is one of the highlights of this place. The air is really really really clean and fresh. Surrounded by lots of trees you have to breathe in the morning air.. It is so fresh! Granted it is further from Jakarta than Kebon raya Bogor or even Kebon Raya Cibodas, but this place is also worth the trip. With all the amazing view, amazing air and amazing places to take photos, why not 5 stars? It is only because of the road to get here. The last 1km or so is covered with 100% potholes. I really recommend you use SUV cars, especially if your car is in full capacity. If you use sedan or any other low ground clearance car, prepare to have your car "mentok" the potholes. And even if you use SUV prepare to buy a new pair of shock breakers for your car because it is almost qualified as an off road track. Seriously, I'm not the only one who complains about those nasty potholes everywhere. I don't know if the local government or the place who is responsible for the repairing but somebody gotta do something asap. It is too bad that this place could be THE PERFECT place to bring your family to breathe in fresh air while learning and having fun.

Quite an interesting place. The entrance gate mentioned the fee details. Tickets were charged for 3 years or older. Kids and adults were charged the same. The cost was Rp 40.000 + with Rp 10.000 tax. So I don’t think anyone would be really interested in knowing the details (at least I don’t). Just that the entrance fee was quite expensive. At least, other attractions around here that we had visited were cheaper. This place probably worth for adults. Lots of places to take photos. But not really if you’re parents with kids, more if it was smaller kids. You need to pay more for the games inside. I think the one that’s really worth to try was the putt putt golf. There was 50% discount at the time, so we only need to pay Rp 10.000 per person. Even with no discount, I still would like to play it. Flying fox was probably also quite good, but we didn’t try it because we got kids that were still small. We tried the Orchid Castle, Rp 40.000 per kids, and just after entering, I already felt disappointed. Really not worth the price. They was kind enough to provide a shuttle to take us from the end of the park to the parking area. But at the time, I had an inconvenient experience with the staff that organize the queue. Still, it’s not the factor for my rating of the place. I’m not saying the place was bad per se. I’m just giving my reviews based on my experience as one of a parent with kids. You can visit this place if you want. But I don’t recommend it if you’re bringing smaller kids here.

Located in Cikole, West Java. By public transport cost around IDR 25K from Bandung train station, taking about 3hours drive with some stops. Will drop of on the intersection after around 300m of Terminal Grafika Cikole and before the gate to Tangkuban Perahu. Walk for around 700m to arriving 1st entrance gate for IDR 35K for Indonesian and 100K for foreigners. From the entrance, this facility providing free shuttle to go further, just waiting for couple minutes or another more walking up for around 1500m. It's around 27 to 18 degree Celsius in Spring time/April, often this area having light fogs, and rain (bring light-travel raincoat is recommended, since facility not providing umbrella). Opening daily from 08:00 to 20:00 Inside this approximately 12 hectares area is mini orchid forest among tall pines trees, beautiful park with some unique theme, rabbit park, suspension sky bridge with interesting light in the afternoon, fliying fox riding, with adding additional fee start from IDR 20K/person. Easy light listening music is sounded along this area. In April 2019, accomodation not available yet at this area, closes one is by staying at Grafika Cikole, Sindang Reret Hotel or Putri Gunung Hotel. Please be wise tourist by no littering, no smoking or at least carefully smoking by not create fire, flushing our pee or poo, respect nature and others and employees. Yes we had pay, but doesn't mean we do what want. Said thanks, sorry, and please.

Very nice ambiance and well organized. The locale is on long slope, you go from the top to bottom. Afterward, you can use the free shuttle on the exit to bring you to the parking space. Since most of the going is downward, it's less tiring to cover the distance. There's a greenhouse filled with orchids, and it's very nice for something you can enter without additional fees. There are photo spots, but they are tastefuly designed, not clashing with the surrounding, and sometimes hidden in winding small paths off the main walk ways. The premise is clean, even the bathroom is clean (at least the ones I use). Some facilities require additional fees, but they are few and the cost is okay. Food is fine. We got a pizza which we thought was very, very nice. Thin pizza with crispy crust. Expect to see lots of trees though, if you don't like being in a forest, you won't enjoy this. Edit: Visited again. Don't skip the mini golf! It's fun! Third visit. They fixed the road, but parking lot is still forest ground. There's a new eatery with very, very nice ambiance. Prices arebrather premium, but not that expensive and very respectable portions. We visit a bit later in the afternoon to check the lighting. Well worth it, but the flying fox was not available around that hours. Since the flying fox is the end of the trek, you may have to choose between dusk lighting and the flying fox. Photo prices are still rather expensive.
