Great restaurant if you’re looking for a South East Asian culinary experience and/or the ambiance of romantic dinner setting (option to dine on the beach, dimmed lights, candles).
I had the pleasure of tasting most of their menu items while staying at Amahelia Resort which the restaurant is located within, but anyone on the island are welcome to dine here.
Their breakfast is amazing and served à la carte. Their take on Eggs Benedict is among the best we’ve had and we also really enjoyed the local Lombok coffee, Naga Bowl and freshly pressed juices.
On their lunch and dinner menu they have many tasty Asian tofu dishes and several of the dishes comes with the option to choose chicken/fish/veg. We were pleasantly surprised by their starters and desserts which became our favorite parts of the menu.
Service is great and very attentive.
Only negative is their wine prices are per bottle and rather high vs other restaurants. Servings by the glass or addition of a more affordable bottle would be nice.
Overall I can highly recommend a visit to Naga for breakfast,...
Read moreNaga Restaurant on Gili Asahan is an absolute gem and my top recommendation for dining on the island. With its Indo-Asian cuisine, diverse menu, and exceptional service, it never disappointed during our six-day visit. The a la carte breakfast, lunch, and snack options provided a wide variety, ensuring we never ran out of new meals to try out. Special mention: we found Naga to be the only restaurant being able to cater for dietary requirements, clearly indicating vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options on the menu and always able to amend to our preference.
Their cocktail menu offers a clever twist on classic drinks, incorporating the restaurant's unique identity. Each cocktail was absolutely delicious and a consistent high standard.
The service at Naga Restaurant was top-notch, with a knowledgeable and attentive staff led by Firman, Amir, Hendra, Habibi, and Tony. They guided us through the menu, providing insights into the dishes and drinks, and took great care of us throughout our time...

A friend and I stayed at Amahalia for two nights, and got the floating breakfast which was incredible, and the coffee here is very good quality too. But even when we stayed an additional two nights at a different place, we came to eat at Naga!! The quality and taste of the food is a mile ahead of the other restaurants on this island.
We got the prawn toast several times- Perfect texture.
The staff are SO NICE. They are also heads above the rest when it comes to service- they actually engage in conversation and make suggestions :) thank you to the amazing staff: Toni, Hendra, Amir, and Habibi
