I recently dined at Ocean Blue Seafood in Senggigi—what an epic experience! The seafood was simply fantastic, unlike anything I’ve tasted before. The moment you step in, the vibe is raw and unpretentious—but make no mistake, this place delivers in the boldest way possible.
The standout feature? Guests choose their own fish directly from aquariums and ponds, and the chef brings it to life right before your eyes. It’s not just a meal—it’s interactive theater, and you’re fully in the show. The freshness of the seafood shines through every bite, with cooking styles ranging from steamed and fried to aromatic kam heong or peppery, all executed with amazing flavor .
The ambiance is simple—almost Spartan—but it adds to the charm, grounding you in authenticity. It’s exactly that unpolished setting that lets the food take center stage. Don’t be fooled by the rough edges; the generous portions, authentic oriental flair, and reasonable prices more than make up for any aesthetic simplicity .

One guest even declared, “The crab is THE BEST” they’ve found in Bali or Lombok . While some mention minor cleanliness and maintenance issues, the overall verdict remains high—honest, flavorful food that doesn’t compromise spirit .
In short—a no-compromise, must-try seafood adventure. If you’re craving genuinely fresh, expertly prepared seafood in a straightforward, beachfront setting, Ocean Blue Seafood delivers in the most memorable...

We also had a nice conversation with the owner & chef (who are an uncle & nephew duo).
We highly recommend this place but a pity that we didn’t take any photo...
